They communicate very well, they are direct with no BS, accommodating and work with you to actually assist, instead of creating more stressors. Terra is an office manager here and has made the experience so seamless, setting the true expectations from the beginning. Krystal is a therapist, who is simply amazing bc she is able to be bluntly honest without coming off as insensitive or a jerk. She educates. So many people need this for themselves! I left a message about scheduling. I didn't get a return call. Two days later I did again and realized call back to let me know what was happening. Nothing. I was looking for an obit or something, thankfully that wasn't the case.Thank God I don't have a sever mental health problem... is it ethical to not tell someone they need to find a new therapist for whatever reason? My anxiety all over the place wondering 'what I did'. We seemed to get along so well. I'm very sad and hesitant to start such a relationship again with a new therapist.

I found out that Laura and Seth would talk about my personal struggles with mental health and even things about my now husband without my consent. I asked Laura why she did that and she said because I had signed a consent form. When I asked for the form, she replied saying that she didn't have a copy and likely forgot to have me sign one, but it was implied with the type of work she does. Higher-ups at Cornerstone were not helpful and did not want to continue an "investigation" on these individuals unless I signed a lengthy consent form and even then they were not apologetic. I was ok with that as we are doing virtual appointments but I thought it was a little odd that they are advertised as being in Oregon. I go through the online forms and fill most of them out. Then I see that if you take any controlled substances that you will be drug tested and you will pay for them! I am 48 years old and have been med compliant my whole life. I am prescribed one controlled substance. I've been on it for years and all it takes is one look at my prescription history to show that I've always been compliant on it with no issues. I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal because my brain doesn't work correctly. I don't do drugs, I don't drink. But when a clinic called Gentle Psych treats us like criminals it's just not cool. I just want to warn people, especially folks in Oregon.
