I'm confused by all the reviews. I understand where they are coming from tho. I went to see Alicja, the owner...many years ago. The type of care she gave me was INCREDIBLE! She LISTENED when nobody else would. She CARED more than anyone in my life cared. She made phone calls to her colleagues trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I had just been in a Domestic Violent Relationship and my speech was racing. She didn't try to force inject me with harmful drugs that made me catatonic like they did over at One Health in Grandview. (That was Dr Holly Schweitzer). The type of care you will receive from Holistic Wellness Solutions should be better than it was before! The staff is working hard to take care of your needs. This place is a jack of all trades, in the best way imaginable! My name is Megan Pindell I have had the privilege to be a client for over 5 years now. For a very long time, I suffered with my mental illness untreated by myself. Honestly life kept throwing life challenges in my path and i finally needed stability to cope with these living conditions. I was referred to see Holistic Wellness! My first time going I let 14 years out within a hour session. I felt bad for doc making her sit through my ugly crying. I used to make every 2year visits to the mental hospital since seeing the doc I have not been to a mental hospital within 3 years now. You have a caring, compassionate team that is interested in bettering your mental health without feeling like a 626 science experiment. This place is not pill pushers there are a lot of things to do like for instance I tried Riki today. I hope this helps with other people who suffer from mental illnesses to be more open on receiving help. I have been going here for several years for medication management and talk therapy. I consider the quality of care here to be exceptional. My prescriber listens to me,it's not just a quick 10-20 minute appointment. My talk therapist is compassionate,knowledgeable and professional. It's a fun hour where we find solutions. Woefully ignorant to adult ADHD needs for high intelligence women This practitioner modeled every single bias and level of ignorance that prevents women from adequate treatment for ADHD. DO NOT BOTHER if you need ADHD medication and support, unless you want to be filtered through contexts of misdiagnoses and misunderstandings of the manifestations of chronic untreated ADHD. Further, this practitioner's listening skills left much to be desired, and her defensiveness was off the charts. read more

Dont go here unless you are willing to accept outdated views & snarky behavior. Will make you feel alienated if you suggest something outside of something they read in their outdated mandated booklets. I suggest going to someone with a wider range of views. Especially if you are looking for a diagnosis of ADHD / AuDHD. The assessment given is not practical for high functioning adults(especially females), only if you are a young male low functioning person. If you are struggling with debilitating anxiety or depression, go somewhere else as they will cancel you as a patient if you do not cancel 24 hours notice (which can be difficult because people with mental struggles do not know how they are going to feel by the time they wake up in the morning). My caregiver had to do a lot of the scheduling for me when I was in a dark time. If you are above the age of 18, they will tell you that you can not be diagnosed with autism. They will not help you find resources unless they are in kahoots with said resource. My psychiatrist that I saw through Holistic was very rude when I was having a meltdown on phone with her about medication. Will ask you "what came first, your anxiety or your depression?" Does anybody truly know the answer to this if you have not worked through your trauma??? Its a counterintuitive question. I dont usually write reviews but this is one of the experiences that has made me lose trust in therapy even more so than I already have. read more

I was told about Holistic Wellness Solutions through my best friend. My very first counselor and I didn't exactly click. However, I was matched with Katie and I couldn't believe how wonderful she was. Not only that, she is so easy to schedule with. My time always feels so respected and I can't say what a relief that has been. Furthermore, I am receiving my medications through Annamarie at holistic and she is incredible at what she does. For a mental health agency, you'd think the staff members would be a bit more polite. I was very eager to schedule an appointment with Holistic Wellness Solutions. I called and left 4 messages before someone got back to me. No one actually called, but continued to text and email me when I asked multiple times for someone to call me. After completing the intake paperwork, I still didn't hear anything. I was nervous I was getting scammed because I didn't physically speak with anyone or talk with anyone about how services would go. After multiple more attempts, I finally got ahold of an extremely rude receptionist. Trying to explain my concerns and making sure I was actually communicating with Holistic Wellness, the receptionist continued to belittle my concerns. I ended up just asking the receptionist to delete my personal information and I'd find a different wellness center. If you get anxiety from trying to find mental health professionals and getting started in a timely manner, I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere.. read more

No warnings, no second chances when it comes to cutting u off as a client after 2 missed appointments. I feel betrayed at how much more they value money than a long time patient. I had literally a lot going on in my life that I was going to them to help me with. But there was no consideration about my mental health condition when I lost money to them by missing two visits which got by me bc my whole schedule was changed due to summer break at school and now my child is with me so I was distracted from my appointments. Plus my regular prescriber had left so I was transitioning. Word of caution to those who aren't perfect about making all appointments and never forgetting. Other than that, counseling was good they have no control over the owners decision but it makes sense now why the employee turnover rate is so high there. read more
