Our service was with the Paso Robles location :) Our tank was overdue, and our system and home are older, and the team of Jim and Robbie came out and took care of everything. North County Septic came out to my house the morning after I reported a problem with my drains backing up after a storm. Turns out the system needed to be completely pumped out. Easter Sunday backup.... And within a short amount of time from calling .... In came these hero's. We had dug out where our septic was. They explained the problems found, pumped and offered maintenance and access enhancements to make any future needs less tedious. Pricing was very fair. Service was rapid and friendly. Beware. Would not recommend. Had them come out to pump and inspect septic to certified to put our house on the market. They broke the San T Pipe to leach line. Left cement debris and broken San T Pipe at the bottom of our septic tank. Which we had to clean out ourselves. During inspection they pumped the septic and said that it looked good. They then told us that they could not certify our septic because our leach line was broken somewhere and water was backing up out of it. We thought that was strange since we had never had backup problems in our house or in our yard ever. After charging us $1600.00 for the first appointment. They then sent us a estimate of $2400.00 just to find the problem and fix the San T. This did not include the work that would have to be done once they found the problem. When we called the owner to ask why didn't they run there camera into the leach line area to try to find the problem since they were already in there doing the inspection alhe said they didn't have a camera. Which my husband was present during the whole inspection and let him know that they did have a camera. He then changed his story to they ran out of time. Well we decided to do our own investigation and ran water for an hour into our leach line and no backup. We did this twice. We called again and let them know we had no backup and asked them to come out and finish the inspection. They wanted to charge us an additional $500.00 to come back out only to inspect and that we would also have to dig out more area. All the way to the D box. Well instead we decided to call another septic company to come out and give us another inspection. It passed and our septic was Certified. No problem with the leach line. What a scam. read more

The owner actually does a lot of the work himself and once we used him when a pipe broke in our store and another time when we needed a new water heater! When people are always gouging you... it is nice to have good quality work quickly at a very fair price. I can't say enough good things about North County Septic!! We had a problem with our system, and they were very prompt to come out and get us taken care of. They re-arranged their schedule to come out and service our system, and made us feel like we were people that needed help, not just another customer. All the staff that we interacted with were professional, considerate, and informative. When we ended up needing more work than expected, Mike (Owner) explained very clearly why they were having to replace more components. I was there while they were doing the work, and he encouraged me to ask any questions I might have regarding the system. They turned a potentially disastrous situation into a quick, painless one. Did I want to spend as much money as I did on my septic system? Absolutely not. Am I glad I called North County Septic Service? You bet!! I cannot even begin to describe how horrible this company is operated. They did a pump and inspection for me. They never inspected or pumped the sump pump station and tried to sneak an extra 300$ charge past us since payment was going through escrow. Septic started over flowing a week after they said "system is 100% fully operational and in good condition". Had another septic company come out and they said the sump pump tank was never pumped, therefore it was never inspected either! This company cost me a lot of money. The other bad reviews on here are absolutely spot on. Carol couldn't run a lemonade stand let alone a business. If you do use them just be aware and be there while they do the work so they can't screw you like they screwed me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

Called them for help and they did come out right away but from then on I became most unhappy. They charged way more than I expected and paid last year. I called for help with that and the baffle that appears to have failed -perhaps their fault. After three day I got thru to a lady. She did not want to hear anything I had to say.
