Had a craving for pizza so I looked for the most OG Montreal style pie I could find in Cornwall via Google. I chose North End Pizzeria (NEP) because of the many good reviews and judging the pictures. 1. I ordered around 5:25 PM, delivery took about 35-40 minutes. In spite of a generous $7 tip the driver gave me a blank stare and walked off. Here's a tip for you: say THANK YOU, wish your generous customer to enjoy their pizza. It is not difficult. Give it a try sometime. 2. The pizza looked impressive upon opening the box. I ordered an XL 17" All Dressed pizza. It looked a little off, so I busted out the measuring tape...16" not 17". 3. After a couple of slices the review is this: - loved how much pepperoni was in the pizza, see the picture for a thickness cutaway view. - did not like the taste of the pepperoni, as it is a lesser quality. It was bland compared to what I am used to in Montreal. Tip: use a higher quality ingredient and less of it. The pizza will taste better. - the dough/crust lacks flavour and is prone to burnt spots on the edge. The crust doesn't rise like a Montreal pizza. It is a little dense. - the vegetable portion. For those who don't know a Montreal All Dressed consists of pepperoni, green peppers, and mushroom with the normal tomato sauce base and mozzarella cheese. The veg portion is skimpy at best. Conclusion: Overall 6.5 / 10 Food. 6.5 / 10 Service 6.5 / 10 Generous on ingredients but bland due to lower end and/or lack of ingredients. read more

Found this via Yelp. Went in to order, everyone was cheerful and nice. Ordered the house special (small). Got it - weighed a ton! It was a four piece pizza, but if you ordered a salad, you could eat pizza and salad for 2 - 4 people and everyone would have enough to eat. I was full after 2 slices. Very generous with their toppings. I did notice that the pepperoni was quite different than I'm used to. When I ate it separately I didn't enjoy, but on the pizza as part of the whole, it worked. They have a pretty extensive menu - much more than just pizza. If I lived in Cornwall, I'd be there often trying other items. :-) I took too long to write this review - so that's about all I can remember now (three weeks too late.) Check their payment methods before you go - I seem to remember they were cash only. To-go only - no eating in the restaurant. This review is based on many dozen experiences over several years. Amazing pizza! Being from Montreal, I'm rather fussy about pizza and this is top-drawer. 9 out of 10 times, it is excellent. The odd time they use a different pepperoni or cheese or the dough may not be cooked well enough. Their poutine is free with a pizza order Sunday through Wednesday. Tip: their regular poutine is "meh" but you can ask for the free poutine to be an Italian one which I think is a better option from there. Their club sandwiches are chock full of chicken breast. They give a lot of fries in anything that has fries included. Steak & pepperoni subs are tasty although not a standout. Their baked lasagna is interesting. It has pepperoni and veggies in it. A large comes with 2 slices of bread and is enough food for me for 4-5 meals. One thing I can't recommend are their Caesar salads. There is enough of dressing on one for a few salads! Note: they are only take-out or delivery. Delivery is always pretty fast. I don't think I've had to wait more than 40 minutes even for a large order. read more

I went there on my way to Toronto. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. The crust was very good, there was a generous portion of chesse and pepperoni. Very satisfied! On top of that, we got poutine for free..! Some type of special deal .. :) however being from Quebec, I'd rather stick to the pizza. read more

To start, I've only ever had the pizza and poutine from this place. That being said, it's the best pizza in Cornwall, Ontario. Hell, it's the best I've had personally in S,D, and G. My girlfriend loves the poutine. It's not made with curds, it's shredded cheese, and it's OK. The meat lover's pizza will fill you with a single slice. But my favorite is the north end special. I'd give it about a 2.5 rating. Not the worst pizza I've ever had but definitely not the best and definitely not work the $18.50 for a medium pizza. Although they are overly generous with their toppings, the crust is too thin on the bottom, it lacks sauce, the pepperoni is mediocre and the whole pizza was hardly cut into slices. Arguably the best pizza in the city and that's saying something since Cornwall is filled with great pizzerias. I understand that you are supposed to review one particular experience at the establishment but North End Pizzeria consistently makes great pie after great pie. That being said my latest order from North End was as delicious as ever. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with a small fry. It was delivered hot and fresh to my front door in about 25 minutes. The pizza is very thick and hearty. I counted seven layers of pepperoni on several portions of the pie... SEVEN! And the cheese was gooey and tasty too. The sauce used for the pizza has a bit of spice to it which in my humble opinion is great. The fries were average but the pizza more than made up for them. It should be noted that North End Pizzeria is a delivery/takeout only establishment. If you are visiting from elsewhere and craving pizza, do yourself a favour and get a pie from North End Pizzeria. Absolutely in the top 3 best Pizza in town or even the greater ottawa area. Hard to find this good a pizza outside of Cornwall.

Ordered pizza from here, no one on the phone bothered to tell me cash only. Nowhere on their website says cash only. Waited AN HOUR for my pizza to get here only for it to be taken back. When I asked how come no one told me on the phone, his answer was "well I'm sure you didn't ask about it either." I'm sorry but it's 2017, get a debit machine or AT LEAST tell your customers otherwise. 100% will not order from here again. Waste of time. read more
