Location is excellent, in Mokotowska street a few steps north from Plac Zbawiciela. Easy access with public transportation, parking could be difficult for car owners. Food is delicious. Traditional hot pot with choice of broth, vegetables, proteins and more. BEWARE, if you are one of those eaters who do not enjoy customizing your food this place might give you a hard time. You must come with passion to design your perfect combination of broth, vegetables, spiciness and seafood/meet/tofu. Dumplings are delicious! Mushroom filling strongly recommended. All food comes uncooked and must be placed on the pots. Boiling broth cook your vegetables and proteins while the steam cooks your dumplings through the bamboo containers. If you are super hungry, eat a cereal bar or something before coming here. Food takes a while, and once is placed in your table and your stomach is craving you realized you still have to wait extra 10-15 min until is cooked. :O Service is not very friendly, not efficient. Drinks took about 30 minutes. When they finally arrived, I was so thirsty that drank my 200ml coke immediately. It took extra 20 min to get a second coke. Food arrived over 1 hour of sitting down. Painful process but everything was tasty and yummy. Overall the place and the concept are very good. Prices are ok. Reservations is recommended in lunch and dinner time. tables over 6 people might be difficult to accommodate. Service needs improvement in efficiency and friendliness. Be patient and enjoy hot pot!

If you are craving French food this restaurant is a very good option to go to. Food is excellent…read moreand flavorful, traditional French with a few fusion dishes. Menu is written on the wall and specials are changed constantly. House wine is quite tasty and other drinks are more elderly priced. Unfortunately I would have to give a two-star due the service and waiting time. It took about 45min to get water and drinks, an additional 30min for the appetizers to come and, it was not until two hours after arrival when finally our main dish arrived. The waitress was respectful but did not apologize nor explain the reason behind the delay. We asked and she said "oh yeah... Your food is waiting in the kitchen" ... really? In general, if you have 2-3 hrs to spare and you want quality food you can give it a try. If you are too hungry do not dare. In summary: Ambience - good Location - excellent Flavor - delicious Food quality - very good Service - not good Waiting time - terrible :(

4 gwiazdki, ponieważ jeszcze za mało zjadłam ;-),ale jestem pewna, że będzie 5;) Bistro la cocotte is located close to Plac Zbawiciela, but it has its unique, French not hipsterish;-) atmosphere. It has 2 floors but is cosy and warm inside. As soon as you enter it you will smell and feel like you are in French bistro. On the day of our visit it was not possible to pay with card but this will be solved soon and btw they were ok with us going to ATM to pay only after we ate and ATM is just 1 minute away. They still cannot sell alcohol but we were offered glass of house white wine . WE got 2 starters - toasts with foie gras and baked vegetables with goat cheese. For waiting time we got bread and olive oil. Food was tasty, simple but full of flavor and really as it should be or even better;-). I got crème brule as my favorite dessert and this was above Warsaw average. It was really good value for money as for these 2 starters, crème brule and 2 glasses of wine we paid 59pln. Menu so far is written on the blackboard without printed copies, but the waitress was really helpful with making our decision. She was also really caring - not too neglecting but also not asking too many questions and coming too many times to check how we are;-). There is a table outside which looks like from fairy tale in this winter surrounding, but it is also a promise of nice atmosphere in summer - sounds like there is a really good new place on warsaw informal dining map :) . 4 stars cause I didn't check main menu

It's a cute little shop with a few small tables. The menu is small but it's a fish & chip shop. There is fish (shrimp, cod, squid) and chips. There is also a fish burger on the menu. The menu might have more options but that's what caught my eye. I was thrilled to try the squid and chips but since I was doing takeaway they suggested I get the cod as it would travel better -- thanks for the tip. The cod was lightly fried not greasy, it seemed to be breaded rather than battered -- very tasty. The fries were crisp not oily. They do upcharge for the dipping sauces. I got the dill and mayo which went well with the cod. They offered a spicy dipping sauce which I didn't get to try. I was a bit bummed out that they did not provide ketchup for the fries. They have the best takeaway boxes - basic brown cardboard box, lined with butcher paper with old timey newsprint on it. Thanks so much for the fork and napkin tucked into my takeaway bag -- I often forget to grab those on the way out.

We don't like tartar sauce and each time we order we ask for plain mayonnaise. Depending on who is working we either get the mayo or get a story. They have mayo there to mix in their sauces but most of them, are just lazy and display that old style typical Polish attitude that they are doing you a favor by just letting you buy what they want to sell.. We, two of us always order at least 3 or 4 orders to eat a variety of flavors yet we are treated like trash. sadly most of the time we just walk in now and turn around because of who is behind the counter. too bad because as I said the food is good
