They assured me this would be no issue, however, here we are, I moved states and now I'm unable to cancel my membership without paying hefty fees and jumping through hoops of mailing letters back and forth because they claim I did not sign up for a month to month membership. It's 2026, you guys know how to cancel over the phone or web but you are refusing to. Typical trashy gym culture trying to milk the consumer out of every hard earned dollar. Not to mention the machinery is all outdated and consistently broken, the bathrooms are dirty and they don't clean the steam rooms very well. Not worth $50 a month, or the headache. Now I've got to close my bank account just to stop getting charged for a member ship I've tried desperately to close with them. Go to gorilla gym instead.

They also have pick up leagues through the summer and fall which helps to keep you on your toes. They also have basketball and handball courts. Volleyball, and hockey courts. 3 baseball fields. The great thing about this park also is that it is host to one of the city's greatest monuments...the Roxbury bandshell. A brick wall built in 1939 by the people of Johnstown during the great depression to signify the strength and survival of the people of johnstown. Also host to the greatest ice cream shop on the planet Roxberry Creamery. Me and the family spend many summer days right here engaging in physical activity as well as tasty creamy treats. My glasses flew off of my face and I thought I was going to fly off of the edge, but instead landed on the ground with a nice bruise on my shin as a souvenir. The plastic "kids slide" is like going down a thin lobster tail and is bumpy on the way down. Anyway. Would come back. The slides are still fun even when moving at a reasonable speed. The rock scramble stairs and the cargo net to get back up are also fun. Yes, I am an adult.

Location: On top of a mountain with an incredible overlook of Uniontown and 15 minutes from all the festivities of Ohiopyle. Activities: Offering a high ropes course, low ropes course, indoor rock climbing in the adventure center, outdoor rock climbing at various locations nearby, a cathedral in the woods, hiking trails to Jumonville Glen, a historical museum, king swing, ga ga ball, 9 square, 4 square, the iconic hike to the cross, partnering with outfitters from Ohiopyle for biking and white water rafting experience, tennis courts, basketball courts, and volleyball courts, frisbee golf, fire pits throughout campus and inside pavilions, chapel, arts and crafts building, and a swimming pool. Lodging: Either roughing it in the cabins or taking shelter in the air conditioned Washington Lodge. Food: Its summer camp, suck it up. This is an incredible way to spend a week of your summer. The views are breathtaking and the activities range from being adventurous to the more subdued. Will continue to be back here for a good week of devotion, peace, excitement, and fun!

Still a great campsite and State Park experience at Deep Creek. We were here this time in June, but…read moreit's been a long mild spring this year, so it's been cool and wet. There were clouds sitting on the lake for the few days we were here, very misty and Will-O-the-Wisp magical. We ended up traveling to some breweries, Swallow Falls (massive rapids with all the rain), did some local shopping and caught a movie. The camp sites weren't crowded at all and we had no problem making last minute reservations for a Sunday and Monday night.
