They offer private farm tours, carriage rides, a bed & breakfast, a wedding chapel and lots of flowers to enjoy. My family went on the carriage ride with Brian and Barbie. They use an original carriage from the 1800s which has been updated with fiberglass wheels and hydraulic breaks. The carriage is drawn by Moses and Aaron (Gypsy Vanner Cross horses). The ride takes about one hour along a mountain gravel road. For portions of the ride, Brian & the horses kick up the speed to around 40 mph. It's pretty cool and exhilarating. A fun family friendly experience. The kids enjoyed petting the animals. They have a donkey, a pony, fainting goats, chickens and pheasants. You'll also find daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, a type of cherry blossom and other flowers.

Tony and I went to Chickamauga, Georgia on the way the long way to Chattanooga via Georgia on a…read moregorgeous day...love to take our drives...so on October 23, 2013 we happened upon this historical lovely depot that they turned into a museum. I enjoyed the quaint little town and we spent about 4 hrs here walking around the depot, the town and the various sights that I also will review. A little history: Sometime around 1888-89, the first railroad was built to the little town of Crawfish Springs, later renamed Chickamauga, Georgia. A Syndicate Company bought large tracts of land for the railroad and a large summer resort. The painting and sketch below shows how the train depot and Park Hotel appeared in the 1890's. The hotel opened in 1891 and the train depot was built with expectations of many visitors. But, the dreams of the investors did not materialize, and in 1898 the hotel was used as a hospital for soldiers at Camp Thomas, located in the Chickamauga Battlefield, in training for the Spanish-American War. It was later demolished and replaced with the two-story brick community house which survives today. The stone depot was constructed by the Central of Georgia Railroad and trains made round trips twice a day between Chattanooga and Cedartown, stopping in Chickamauga. Passenger service stopped in the early 50's and the depot was locked in the late 60's. Over the years, the depot was used by the City Schools, as a public library, by the Recreation Association and Walker County; until the City of Chickamauga was deeded the property in the late 1990's. Hours are from 10 am to 4 pm Thursday thru Saturday, closed on Sunday and Monday. Admission is $2.00 and parking is free. A steam locomotive carries passengers on excursions and day trips from Chattanooga during the summer months, stopping at the Chickamauga Depot. Phone 706-375-4488 for additional information.

Rebecca was incredibly easy to communicate with and helped me set everything up ahead of time. I felt incredibly taken care of from the first interaction through when they dropped us off at our doorstep and carried our wine to the door. Chris picked my friend and I up and we met Rebecca with the van which they decorated with a darling happy birthday sign, cold water, and an assortment of snacks. I was blown away by their hospitality. Before hitting the road they reviewed the wineries we planned to visit and then we were off. Rebecca drove safely and made conversation with us along the way. Chris was very knowledgeable about the vineyards and wines. Each time we arrived at a new vineyard Chris opened the car door and offered his hand as we stepped down from the van. He opened the vineyard door and helped us find seats at each winery, and then gave us space to enjoy our tasting. Between tastings he made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of water and snacks. He even brought our next tasting out to our seats so that we wouldn't need to get up- it was truly FULL service in every single way. I never once felt rushed by him or Rebecca, and their smiling faces and easy demeanor really created the perfect environment for my friend and I to cut loose and enjoy ourselves. After our tastings we said goodbye and Chris drove us back to our cabin where he personally carried the box of wine to our front door. He thanked us for spending the day with him and was on his way. I cannot recommend Chris and Rebecca enough! I will absolutely be booking with them again. I highly recommend them for any trip! Their prices are incredibly reasonable- and the service is top notch. I was blown away and cannot wait to book another trip with them!

They offer a ticket discount every Tuesday, all day, and also have showings of classic movies on Wednesdays and Sundays. The theater is busy but usually not crowded. It's easy to buy tickets on line to reserve your seats, and they feature all the current movies. We saw both Project Hail Mary and Marty Supreme there! There's a lot of free parking and the theater is handicapped accessible. We highly recommend this GTC theater!
