This place is really fun and really cool. It has been showcased in many travel shows and Sasquatch and cryptids shows, either on YT or podcasts, as well as regular cable networks. The museum is small but it is full of great information. It is true that any of the evidence here could be fabricated and false, but what if it is real? I have not seen any Big Foot, but I have had other experiences that are similar, and for that reason I cannot say this is fake. I don't know if this place will make you a believer or an investigator, but there are plenty of resources here to get won your way. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Being a big Bigfoot fan, I decided I would check this out while in the area. Admission is fairly inexpensive just $9. You do the tour yourself and walk around. There are some headphones to listen to some stories and there's a few little mini theatres that you can sit and listen to. Unfortunately the only bad thing I have to say about it is that the main theatre plays very silly computer generated Bigfoot videos instead of actual footage. So myself as well as some other people got up and left pretty quickly. The staff is sweet and there's a gift shop to get some moderately priced goodies as well as look at an updated map of Bigfoot reported sighting by civilians. read more

This place is AMAZING!!! I loved it and employees are nice. Lots of pictures, videos, and sounds to explore for everyone. Not to mention history to look at with all the cameras, and old equipment used back in the day to capture sounds. All the old equipment donated is astonishing to look at, and just take in. OMG THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! We came up here for a friends-giving in a cabin and we HAD TO COME HERE! I would never think this place was in Georgia and I'm totally a believer! It's so awesome here!! They have movies and lots of exhibits providing evidence and lure. I came with 3 more people, and we had so much fun!! Tickets weren't expensive, and the gift shop is super cool! There's a way to talk about funky roadside attractions that minimizes the dignity of the surrounding community and of the business owners. This kind of thing doesn't just appear in a vacuum, afterall. I'll try to put my urban punk-a** attitude aside for a second and instead give you the deepest tracks I can. The museum is a very unique place, and whoever had the vision to put it there deserves some kind of award. The museum is in Cherry Log GA, on the stretch of 515 that pushes through the Blue Ridge cabin rental zone. It's impossible to miss, and I pulled on my travel partner's arm with the joy of a small child. It's a low-slung building decorated with US Park Service-esque emblems and typefaces. There's a giant sasquatch statue outside, and a large sign advertising that you're entering a "research station". It is apparently the largest bigfoot museum in the world. We didn't have time to go through the permanent exhibit, which is pretty cheap. I've come to understand that it's got some great artifacts, though. The gift shop was open though, and we stopped to chat up the staff. I asked about all of this research business, and they pointed to a large corkboard map of the north GA forests; the map was covered in pushpins with little description tags. We were told that these were all locally reported sasquatch sightings (picture included), and that sometimes they do ride into the hills and check these things out. Spooky! Anyway, the gift shop itself was pretty awesome and the staff was helpful and cool with my questions. There was a minimum of silly trinkets (I bought a Christmas ornament), and instead I found lots of books in stock. They have a lot of reference material on other regional sasquatch folklore. There were stuffed forest critters and a bunch of plaster footprints. A great way to get in touch with your inner Fox Mulder. Was that a noise outside my cabin? read more

If you are in the area it's definitely a fun little museum to visit. I love going to unique quirky road side attractions and this definitely meets those criteria. When kids and I go apple picking in the area yearly we make a stop here and enjoy the exhibits and guest speakers at times. We are not believers of Bigfoot but it's still a fun experience read more

Tons of "footage" of the "man-beast" and first hand accounts plus scientific studies of unknown dna and types of hair. We t was a fun diversion. The museum took about an hour to go through while we watched some videos and listened to sounds. We had a fun and got a few good pictures. It is outside of cherry log. It turns out there are several big foot type museums through out the country. This is the only one I have been to. I guess I will need to go to more to determine if big foot is really really real! read more

This is an interesting museum. However, once you've gone there is no reason to go through it again. The gift shop was my favorite part. I came here twice, and the first time there was very cute needle felt ornaments by a local artist. When I came back 2 years later, the gift shop didn't have anything like that anymore. If you are very into Bigfoot and have a lot of knowledge on the subject already, there is not a lot of new information that you probably don't know as this place is for Bigfoot newbies if you will. That being said we still had a great time and enjoyed looking at all the exhibits. The pricing is more than reasonable! A museum dedicated to Big Foot....Ha! Awesome alert! Whether it's Ancient aliens, Moon landing myth, JFK assassination, Planet X, Elvis' fake death, Freemason, etc. I have to admit I'm a sucker for all things conspiracy... This museum located on the way up to Blue Ridge Mountain is half Disney, half gift shop and 100% fabulous! I was tempted to buy one of each item in the front lobby. They have a tour you can take but I wasn't able to do that this time but I definitely want to next time when I'm not so pressed for time... As you enter the place they have all these cool "road" signs and even play the Indiana Jones theme song up front... The shop is loaded with stuff such as Big foot theory books, socks, bumper stickers, mugs, earring and funny t shirts. There is even a nice sitting area with a fireplace for you to relax....definitely worth coming back a few more times. read more

We enjoyed the exhibits and the entire museum. Especially enjoyed the map with the Bigfoot sightings. Clean, easy to find and interesting. Upon entering the staff assumed our family of 5 including a 4 yo, 10 yo, and 15 yo with two adults were 5 adults total for admission. Next only the active duty personnel get free admission and I asked why not retirees I was given a blank stare and asked to pay. (Side note: FYI military retirees should get more discounts than just active duty personnel. Giving up 20 or more years of your life is more than 2-4 years and deserving of such.) Also, holding my driver's license for inexpensive noise cancelling headphones is a bit much. Not going to steal your head phones. Only one entrance and exit people! We paid and were told to wait to enter until a guide explained the entrance, video, etc. we had our tickets punched then entered. Loads of informative videos and documentation to read. If you are looking for something to do on a cold and rainy day then go on over and visit. read more

How can you resist this place. For $8 it is a good time and is very well done. I am still not 100% convinced that Bigfoot is the real deal, but I did see an amazing collection of artifacts and displays that were fun to view. There is even authentic Bigfoot feces (although I am not sure how they verified that). I was going to just drive on by, but actually made a u-turn as, honestly, I have never been to a Bigfoot museum and the decor seemed to legit. The entire place is probably only the size of a average home, and there is a small gift shop. So, rather than debate if Bigfoot is real or not, visit this place and decide yourself. read more

This place is one of those perfect things to say you pulled over and spent the time to do. It's silly, it's old school, and it's just fun, hilarious, and interesting all at the same time. While I have been traveling in Florida I had noticed the billboard for this place off I75 North and thought it could be fun to visit. Well we made it. My wife was very impressed and if she was impressed that is saying a lot since she does make fun of me about my Bigfoot interests. I was also impressed with the layout and the amount of artifacts available to see. The owner was also interesting to speak with.
