It's family run, honest, relatively cheap and has an odd charm about it. Basically, T's is a little collection of old boxy buildings of different shapes and sizes attached to a number of Tennis courts. They're an outdoor pool (that I didn't try, it was too cold out!) and a mini golf range (where I think you have to pay $5 to play). The owner was good humoured and chatty, she gave us a quick tour and some milk for making tea and coffee in our rooms. We stayed in the economy cabin. It was a small boxy room with a double bed, mini fridge, mugs, towels, some plates, a kettle, a small TV, a heater and plenty of blankets. It warmed up quickly, the bed was comfy and the place was neat and clean. If it was noisy, we didn't hear it. All accommodation here includes free continental breakfast near check in, which has toast, crumpets, cereal, plenty of spreads, tea, coffee and juices. The owner came over and had a chat with us again about our trip and gave us some advice about where to stop. It's about a 10 minute drive (or 30 min walk) from the centre of town, which has lots of fish and chip places, bars and restaurants. Look, if you're looking for luxury this isn't the place. But if you're looking for a quirky place that's good value, give it a go. I know we'll be going back.

Fairly inexpensive at $50 per person, and comparable to other tours. At least 90 minutes in the boat, most of which time we were constantly viewing whales. Most of the seats were booked out so I recommend at least one nights advanced planning. They offer the most modern, fastest boat with all the bells and whistles, but no bathroom. Use the public toilets in the nearby park before departure. The ride takes you out quickly and they have a spotter in constant communication to keep them advised of the areas best for whale activity. You're guaranteed whale sightings, too. I felt like we hit the whale jackpot, as almost as soon as we got to stationary position off the coast a humpback engaged in repeated tail smacking behavior and another turned on its side and appeared to wave at us with one flipper. We were up front and got an exciting speed ride both in and out from the dock. The captain, Andrew, is also knowledgeable about whales and provides a light, amusing, unobtrusive commentary throughout the journey. The boat even had a high quality sound system which allows a bombastic return ride with a few classic jams, but I won't spoil the surprise... Port Macquarie is an excellent spot from which to view whales, and this is the company with the boat to do it in and the captain to do it with.

So we had decided that we were going to go golfing in between surfing and exploring. We just had…read morenot had the opportunity till now. But we were also looking for some Kangaroos. Well guess what here you have a little of both. This place is a driving range / mini golf ( put put ). But not only that. There are wallaby's. All over the driving range. So we were getting a little of both. Pun included. Since the Wallby is a smaller type of Kangaroos. They stand about 5 feet or bit taller. But way smaller than the tall ones we think of. The mini golf area was fun. No giant castles or stuff. But well manicured. A couple hard holes. But most just test your skill on your short game. The driving range where most people were at. That looked fun. But it was kind of full at the time we went. And the Wallaby's were next to it. They looked like judges. I was waiting for them to pop out numbers and be giving scores. It would have been hilarious. But I really think they were talking amping themselves. Saying this guy needs help with his swing. We played some mini golf for beers. There was no beer cart on the second half. But we kept tabs. On for the record. I beat my friend by one stroke. Great place to go have fun. And if you want to get close the Wallaby be very careful. They are territorial. Especially with their mates and joeys.

I read that normally You can have your photo taken with some of their pythons however when I went in September of 2020 they were not doing this due to covid 19 which is perfectly understandable and to me shows that they truly care about their staff and their animals. The African Safari section is pretty cool as well, lots of beautiful big cats such as Cheetahs, Lions and even a Snow Leopard. They had a free disco on for kids with Silly DJ so families were rolling up, getting a meal then partaking of the music. The local seemed a bit bemused (or cranky in some cases) as it looks like this place is normally very quiet. We didn't mind. There was no signing in procedure if you wanted to go to the bistro. The line up for the order was a little long but the meals came out in a timely fashion. they were OK; club food but edible. We didn't stay for the disco but the place was rocking the whole time we were there.

Not one email all year and we reached out to confirm she was heart broken. We kept the 'certificate of adoption' on the fridge but now it's time to move on. I get they just want donations and that's important but a little effort would be heartfelt and go far.

On Sunday we enjoyed the steak lunch with a beer for $20! My wife enjoyed a nice vegetarian ravioli while our two year old played in the kids area. Gin and tonics were only $5 too! We returned for dinner to the Chinese buffet for dinner. It was only $25 and wine was very affordable. The buffet was nicely presented and a wide range of items to fill your plate, but it seemed full of MSG. We quickly get bloated and tired. Our 5 star rating is directed the lunch dining experience downstairs.
