We are from FL. And inherited our aunts home that we were selling. The home was in a trust so we had lots of questions regarding the closing. We contacted northern title at least 5 times requesting information and not once would they return our call! We were told they work remotely (from home) and you can not talk to the closer? Our realtor also tried numerous times and could not speak to the closing person. Remember, we are flying 2500 miles for this closing. To many other issues to list! The day of the closing they were the most rudes people I ever incountered. Wanted proof that we tried Calling. Wanted all emails our realtor sent. Everything was our fault. Had to close the next day. Almost had to walk away from closing (selling.) We have been in the real estate business for 40yrs in Florida. This company should not be in business! read more

Was incredibly happy with how everything went, until AFTER closing. We were told escrow check would be deposited within the hour, and would be a cashier's check and that they banked at the same bank as us. Nope. It was a simple check like a personal check, and they banked at a completely different institution. We only found out about this when our bank was taking days to process it and we made several in-person visits to find out what the hold up was. We asked them why a cashier's check was taking so long to clear, when they informed us that it wasn't a cashier's check and was from a different bank. Needless to say, we were pretty ticked off. Buying/selling a home is a stressful period and waiting for that check to clear wasted a lot of our personal time and added a lot of stress. Some of that money was going into another real estate deal, and it made us look bad that funds weren't available when they should have been. read more
