It gets busy and there's no real order in terms of who sits first should order first but it doesn't work that way here. Just flag a server when you're ready to order. Plenty of seating. Service wasn't the best but the food was good. Ordered NS10 fresh prawn dumpling w/ 3 kinds of mushroom noodle soup, pineapple fried rice with pork sausage, and ND49 fried bean curd skin with shiitake mushrooms in oyster sauce. All were really good but the pineapple fried rice was just really fried rice. There were only a few pieces of pineapple. The prawns in the noodle soup was really tasty. Obviously the noodles those NS, pork buns, dim-sum. Especially the lapu- lapu fish with yang-chow fried rice the best combination! They served the food fast. Definitely noisy during peak hours but it doesn't matter unless you prefer quiet time go on off peak it is open 24hrs anyway. Recommended. read more

Thinking I'm ordering fish fillet as the main dish not the soft as the main item, they should have change the menu the opposite. Ridiculous. First stop to eat in manila where we get a blend of chinese filipino fusion. This restaurant is a known place to eat. It was a packed house in Manila. But the Siopao.. the big meat filled soft buns are huger than normal and packed with flavor. I enjoyed every dish. There are a lot of vegetarian options and filipino versions of dim sum. The soups and cantonese dishes are extra special and big portioned for sharing. The no fried rice and the fish and tofu stone hot pot was my favs! read more

Makati Avenue branch is the worst branch. Do not dine there unless you want to wait for more than an hour just for a congee. We are regular customers at Glorietta and it only takes them a few minutes to serve our orders. We just ordered now and 2 out of the 4 congees they served us were like sinaing, rice was too sticky and dehydrated. Sadly it was a take out so sayang lang ang binayad. Its not really worth it to wait that long and the staff are rude too. This is the last time we'll ever go to that branch. No option for zero stars, gave 1 star just to post this review but they dont deserve even just 1 star. read more

Had my shrooms and chinese food fix since I got tired from the walking that I had for the day. When I was younger, my dad and godfather would drop by and have our congee here at around 11pm after late night bible study sessions. After a night out of drinking and dancing for on Lunar New Year's eve, a friend and I decided to drop by the first open thing we saw at 3 AM. Coincidentally, it was a North Park restaurant! How appropriate! Normally, I would ask for a plate of Pinsek Frito (fried dumplings), Salt & Pepper squid, Lemon Chicken, and Sweet & Sour Pork, and a bowl of fried rice. To share, obviously. I've always enjoyed dining at North Park, so it was really amusing to learn that this branch can cater to anyone's Chinese food cravings at any time since it's open 24/7!!!! Woohoo! The service is a bit slow compared to other branches, but that wouldn't stop me from eating here again. :) My friend and I ate salted fish with chicken fried rice, salted garlic squid, and Shanghai chicken. Any kind of rice from North Park is really flavorful and could be eaten on its own, so it's no surprise that Mickey and I easily finished our order. The salted garlic squid was soft and seasoned just enough, but tastes much better with chili toyomansi! The chicken was kind of dry, but the sauce that came with it did wonders! Had the Aniseed Beef Tendon (litid) soup, very tasty and excellent soup. Kikiam had a taste I'm not used to but still very good and flavorful not too salty. The siopao had the traditional salty Fil-Chi flavor. The place is clean and food came out very quick. The North Park Special toast noodles also came out very good. Visited here during a stay in Makati City at the City Garden Grand Hotel just across the street. We were coming back from a night of drinking in Publicion area and saw that it was open 24 hrs. Saw down and order a bunch of different kinds of dumplings and dim sum dishes. Maybe about 5-6 plates which were each good for 2 people to share. Only cost us about $15 USD. This classic eatery has been around for a long time now and is one of the most popular places to eat after a night of drinking. It's Chinese food but I wouldn't say it's super authentic. It's still good though and I'll eat here once in a while. The noodles are just ok in general. I think I've tried all of them already. The fresh prawn dumpling is my favorite. Some other favorites include the lechon macao, sweet and sour pork and king dao spareribs. Some of the dishes are craveworthy but still mostly overpriced in my opinion. For example the rice meals are less than P200 but don't have enough meat and come with plain rice leaving you wanting more. Ordering to share could set you back around P300-P400. It's not much but for P300-P400 you can get better Chinese food around the corner like at Hap Chan or Mongkok. Service is good and attentive. The décor is modern and comfy. read more

North Park has served me well especially during my college years since this was the place me and my buddies would frequent after a night out. It is always open late at night so it's perfect for that midnight snack food trip after all the club hopping on a Friday or Saturday night. This place gets really packed though at these times so getting a table can be quite difficult and you would have to wait a bit longer. We usually order the Pinsec Frito, your staple Siomai or Hakkao, rice meals like their Lechon Macau, Salted Garlic Squid, Lemon Chicken and my favorite dessert Mango Sago. I remember always calling their Makati branch for delivery during midnights when I'm doing at dvd marathon. Not so great experience. We ordered pineapple fried rice. But instead of pineapple being the main ingredient, they added a significant amount of shrimp. Yuck! Shrimp was not mentioned on the menu under this dish. There were literally 2 tiny pieces of pineapple on the entire plate. When we asked the waitress about not having any pineapple and instead tons of shrimp, she took our plate and started digging through the rice. She pointed out the two pieces of pineapple and said 'yes here is the pineapple.' Then she told us that all of their plates include shrimp even though the menu does not say that. Rather than taking our rice back and correcting the issue, she argued with us while digging through our food with a spoon. We ended up paying our bill and walked out, leaving the shrimpy rice there.
