    Beef and tended soup

Ate at the dimsum area of the restaurant and it did not disappoint. This place is huge, they have a fine dining area, dimsum, and hot pot. We decided to try the dimsum part of the restaurant and went a few dimsum options plus individual soups. Was a fan of their siomai, we tried the pork/shrimp, nori pork, and shark fin options. Also tried chicken feet for the first time, the sauce they're made in is delish! As for the soups, they were very good! The waitress told us they're for one person but they could definitely be shared. We tried the beef and tendon as well as the roasted duck. The duck had a creamy yummy flavor to it, but I still enjoyed my beef and tended soup more. The meat was so tender! Both also come with a nice sized bok choy and the noodles were the perfect texture. Definitely check this place out if you're wanting Chinese cuisine in green hills! Our friends tried the fried spare ribs, they said these were the best of their dishes! I would get this if I came back and did shared plates - just a recommendation I thought I'd add!

First few hours back to Manila, Philippines and we stopped by this high end Chinese food in Greenhills Mall. Very nice place, the service is great, they can accommodate large groups. The food is great! And for the price when adjusted to US dollars it is actually affordable. Sorry no photos due to large hangry group.

The Holidays is a perfect time to feast on food. Gloria Maris Greenhills is a venue for numerous family gatherings and friendship celebrations. We stayed in the dimsum area. Two other sections of the restaurant building is the Hotpot and Fine Dining Banquet. Service is fast despite the large number of customers. Food maintains its top-notch quality and I always love the freshness of dimsum they serve. Hakaw and Xia Long Bao is an automatic choice for us. We had Chicken and Asparagus soup, Roast Duck, Fried Chicken, Fried Noodles, and Yang Chow Fried Rice. Inevitably one the most delicious selection of food and we finished off with a bowl of Mango Sago.

Gloria Maris is an institution. If you're Chinese, you basically celebrate your life in this restaurant especially if you live in and around Greenhills. So basically, they have 3 areas: fine dining, dimsum and shabu shabu. I've tried everything. Best place in and around the area. Everything's quite good and favorites are largely relative. For the dimsum, I really like their hakaw, siomai, asado siopao, meatball congee and broccoli with garlic. My mom loves their chicken feet. They also now have the baked pork buns like in Tim Ho Wan. You can really not go wrong with most of their dishes. For dessert, I really love their ube gelatin. I can eat a dozen easily. It's like you can never quite get enough. If not, I get the taho. The problem with the taho is that you have to get the whole bucket. If you're only one person eating, this might pose a problem. It's delicious though.

Decent Place when you're looking for an inexpensive quick fix for Dim Sum/ Chinese food. The overall quality of the food was okay. Ordered a cafe latte at the beginning of the meal and had instructed them to bring it as soon as it was ready. I didn't get it till 45 minutes into the meal. The duck and spicy pork chop were the only thing I really liked from their menu. Their fried rice were a little too salty for my taste. Overall, an okay experience but most likely would not come back here

Good Chinese resto. This was my first time at this location and it was very spacious. They have a ballroom on the 2nd floor. We ate the dimsum which was about average ad well as was the price. I wouldn't say this is a must try but it is a reliable resto if you are looking for Chinese cuisine.

This is a Seafood Chinese restaurant. I recommend to take hotpot. It is not Shabu-Shabu but it's pure Chinese hotpot. The taste of soup would be key for someone, but if you understand their style of hotpot, it would be unique and very nice dishes they offer. The price is very reasonable if you take a hotpot with 3-4 people. If you expect Japanese style of Shabu-Shabu, you would be disappointed. Good place for business use, family use, and with friends too. They do not accept reservation. First come, first serve policy.

Great Chinese food and customer service. The place has been around for a while. A lot of selections to choose from and each dish i tried was good.

I ordered that Relenong Bangus and it was to die for! I finished the whole fish by my self.....without rice! That's how good it is. Also, their Tokwa at baboy tasted so heavenly with a well balanced flavor of the sauce that was not so overpowering with garlic and onions. It was mixed to perfection and can be drank by itself! Their Goto is also great! Flavorful and served fresh to our table, you just won't care how hot the soup is, you just want to dig in and savor the deliciousness of the dish. The only negative thing that I noticed are the faces of their servers. As always, they lacked friendliness and they had this irritated look in their faces like we are a bother to them. If it were not for the delicious food, I would have encouraged my party to leave and find a friendlier place.

The halo-halo was the standout for me--really hit the spot and perfect for the weather. The palabok was very generous with the sauce, which I appreciated, though flavor-wise it wasn't especially memorable for me since I've had better elsewhere. The sisig on rice was okay, but I wish there was a bit more sisig compared to the amount of rice. The place was packed though, so clearly a lot of people keep coming back for a reason. I'd still be open to returning and trying some of their other ulam next time.

One of my most favorite places for Chinese food and one that I frequent is Northpark. I can attest…read morealso that almost everything on the menu is good - except that I'm really sad that they don't have taro puff (I think they should really put that on the menu)! While they have plenty of branches around the metro, my favorite branch would have to be their Lazcano branch in Quezon City. The restaurant is very spacious and is very good for big groups or families. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer to dine without the comforts of air conditioning. The interiors are kept modern with a really pleasant color scheme that's not too painful to the eyes. Their very extensive menu (which is smartly positioned as placemats), stretches from dimsum, noodle soups, steamed rice meals, braised noodles, fried rice, congee, superior soup, signature dishes, hot pot, roast and desserts. To be quite honest, if you're a Northpark first timer, it'll be pretty tough decision making on what to order because there are simply too many options. The stuff I've tried in their dimsum choices is the Fresh Prawn Dumpling, three pieces of beautifully steamed dumplings which is stuffed just right for that one whole bite, and the Pinsec Frito, triangular meat dumplings which are fried to perfect crispiness. Personally, while they don't serve it with mayo, you should dip it in there if you choose to eat it home. Their noodle soups, however, are a class of its own. There's plenty to choose from - wanton, nanking beef, dumpling, pork rib, mushroom - whatever meat selection you are craving for, they have it. Personally though, my favorite would be the Fresh Prawn Dumpling and the Wanton Noodle. The amount of dumplings and wantons is just right for the size of the bowl - and mind you, the bowl comes in two sizes - light and regular. The light sized bowl is okay if you're planning to order other items on the menu without having to be really full by the time you reach the bottom of your bowl; while the Regular sized bowl is enough to make you not want to move right after. What's great also about Northpark is that you can have your pick of noodles with your soup - whole wheat, herb, empress, flat shanghai, canton and hongkong. If you're the type who has to have rice with their meal, order their Lechon Macau over fried rice. Think crispy slices of lightly seasoned pork topped in a bed of yang chow fried rice - it's really filling, delicious and flavorful. Surprisingly, the whole dish can also be shared with a friend so you can have samplers as the serving is pretty large. To top off the meal, I highly recommend their Almond Jelly with Fresh Mango which is served over crushed ice. The dessert is refreshing and the mangoes are always sweet and balances out with the flavors of the almond jelly.

I can't afford eating in Gloria Maris simply because it's a bit steep for my budget and it feels awkward for me to eat in such a huge place where there's no table just for one (or two). Crystal Jade actually brings back memory of a not so distant past. It actually reminds me of the old Chinese restaurants that are on the fine dining side, the plates don't show wear and tear, utensils are properly paired. Hmmmm, taste-wise, food was OK. It was not, "Yummy yehey", it was not bad. Its, well...., food. The serving size isn't big enough to be shared by two hungry people. It's enough to fill the stomach but won't you go bloated. Dumplings were great, though. But the food servers were really attentive. Once someone raises their hands or make the simplest eye contact, they'd rush immediately. That's a + + + for me actually.

Good thing I can always rely on Crystal Jade to wipe away my exhaustion and hunger. For a full meal, I usually indulge in an order of their pork xiao long bao. I like their xiao long bao mostly because there's always "juice" inside that is like a burst of happiness inside my mouth. One order has 5 pieces and is just about filling as a snack already. Then another staple with my meals at Crystal Jade would be their noodles with dried shrimp in peanut sauce. The soft noodles are complimented by the texture of the dried shrimp and the sauce itself, which is spicy very much to my delight. For a full meal, half of the snack size is usually enough for me, so I either split it with whoever I'm with, or I have it packed away to take home.

The three cup chicken, eaten with white rice, is a great meal by itself. The original recipe calls for three cups of sesame oil, soy sauce and rice vinegar. Cooked with large chunks of ginger and garlic cloves, and basil thrown it, it is a very addictive dish! The sweet spare rib was a bit too sweet for me ( served sprinkled with powdered sugar) it is best eaten I think, if a complementary spicy dish like Kung Pao shrimp. The xia long bao is as good as others - I really enjoyed it when served hot. For vegetables, the standard fare such as spinach, morning glory, and book choy are available. For our choice, we ordered the green beans with ground pork. Salty and spicy, it was a welcome change from the standards. We found the roast duck to be very greasy - we wondered if it was fried not roasted. I would not order it again. We found the service to be attentive but not obtrusive!
