We use this printer company at my place of work and the attitude we encounter every single time is so refreshing - everyone is cheerful and eager to help if possible and if you've missed any detail from your order they'll be straight on the phone to check everything and make sure you get what you need. The efficiency is quite remarkable here. I've known them turn round full colour printing jobs in a few hours and it's become an in-house joke where I work where we almost have a sweepstake on how soon they'll get back to us. We use recycled paper and that's easily done at Colourcopy so there's an environmentally friendly side to them too. Finally the quality of the job they do is first class. Our printing requirements are always done to the highest quality and everything they've done for us has been spot on.

The price they offer is also excellent and rarely beaten. I use them for short run items such as leaflets, flyers, legal documents etc. They also offer large format digital printing such as exhibition banners. They can usually turn print round in 1 - 3 days which is excellent. I've sent files before and picked up the print 2 hours later. Great printers at a great price!

It was with a heavy heart and a head so low I could smell the pavement that I phoned the job centre and organised about coming down to sign on. What was most ridiculous about this brief episode was that I had work, 12 hours a week, but I needed help with the other 20 hours - both financially and eventually, the idea was, to fill them with another job. So, I had my first appointment. "So, what kind of work are you looking for? What can you do?" "Well, I did creative writing at university, so - " "Er," She looked awkward. "So that's like, er calligraphy then or something?" *Sigh*. "Uh, no. No, more like copy editing, or proof reading, or writing reviews. You know?" Yes. It went on a bit like that. She told me she'd put a note on my record explaining the writing bit, but in the mean time we'd concentrate on other areas like admin or more bar work. *Sigh*. Beyond the lack of identifying my strengths was the fact that I was to come down and sign on twice a month to *not* be entitled to any money. Since I earned just over (within the pence region) the allowance, I was entitled to *no* Giro. I got up twice a month, to walk an hour into town, to queue with some rather unsavoury characters, to discuss work that wasn't available to me, to earn nothing extra for myself. I sort of nipped that one in the bud after only two months I believe. Fortunately, it all worked out for me in the end. But with no help here, I can assure you.

This place will bind your dissertation to your departments specifications sharpish and its only a stone's throw away from the University, next to the Fenton pub. During normal term time they can also be a useful place to photocopy documents and do not charge huge amounts. Actually I think they are sometimes cheaper than the library depending on which university you are at and what you want to copy. Definitely a place to make a mental note of if you're a student.
