We called ahead letting them know our club would be arriving, making sure they had space for all of us, and asking if they could park us near each other. They stated they had plenty of parking for us and would do their best to get us all together. Our club members called- telling them they were part of our club. Even so - we were spread out throughout the park, We even called multiple times- asking for spots closer to one another. We convoyed to the park, and checked in together - the staff was less than friendly and seemed annoyed that we all checked in together. Day four of our stay was too rainy to ride - so everyone came to 1 trailer - hung out waiting for a break in the rain so we could ride. The husband/wife managers came to our spot and threatened to have our vehicles towed- because you are only allowed 3 vehicles per spot. The area behind our unit was 'open parking' We reminded them each and every person at our spot was a paying guest at the park and ride from their spot to ours. Didn't matter- she told us in no uncertain terms if the sxs's weren't moved - she would call the cops and have them towed. Pretty poor people skills! As some previous reviews mention, the spots are gavel (at best) mostly dirt. With heavy rains - the spot turned into a giant mud puddle All in all - if you are planning a group SXS event in the area - avoid this park at all costs!

I don't get the bad reviews and noise complaints. We just stayed here Thursday through Saturday…read more I heard very little noise, and my friend who had not seen these reviews actually randomly commented, "It's so quiet here." Every now and then a golf cart or UTV would drive by, but if you can't handle 10 seconds of engine noise a few times a day, you probably shouldn't be outside your house at all. Staff was courteous and helpful. All of the amenities were in good condition and clean. I did find it odd however that even though there were a lot of open spaces, they tended to assign people next to each other. Why not give us space and put people farther apart? The spaces are gravel covered with a small picnic table in each one. They are level and smooth.

I've stayed in Vanderpool, Bluebird, Verner, and Fiesta. They've always had clean, warm beds and clean bathrooms. We have most of our it leadership activities in Tabernacle and A-Frame. We also use the Leisure House and the amphitheater. A few years ago we started using Tab East and Tab West. My primary job is AV. They upgraded their sound system in both Tabernacle and A-frame from last year and it is pretty awesome! They also had one wireless hand held mic and a lavelier mic for me to use. I brought in 6 of our own wireless hand held mics to plug into their system. Their video projector and mixer boards in Tabernacle, Tab West, Tab East and A-frame were wonderful. It's so nice when the tech works!! As always, confidence course (high ropes) are always a big hit for our campers! Challenge course (low ropes) is also a camper favorite. We also do bonfire on our last night of camp and the only down side to that is the 930pm sound ordinance. So over the years we have converted to playing acoustic music. I would give this camp 5 stars, but this past year, the new owners of the camp actually yelled at our RYLA chair in front of everyone, including the campers (who are high school students and are impressionable). It was bad taste, rude, and unnecessary. Also, they stopped providing dietary options for those who are gluten free. They only offer vegetarian as an alternative option. So we had adult volunteers who used their own money to make gluten-free and vegetarian options for our campers.

Very quiet park but very accommodating…read more They have a 24/7 room with laundry available, couple bathrooms, small tv with dish hookup, huge dvd selection, tons of books, couple board games, few puzzles and a couple exercise equipment. The property has small rocks throughout property but they did not allow a wood fire :( it was soooo cold! But we understand. There is a small gold course at the entrance of the park. It was fun playing it at night. The owner added lights specifically for the golf course and a little fountain. The attention to detail was there. There is a small dog park that is gated but meant for big dogs. Small dogs will walk right through the posts. We stayed here for a night and when we went to turn on our diesel bus, it wouldn't turn on. We eventually found out our gas filter froze overnight due to the elevation probably because we've stayed in colder places. So if you're staying here bring extra fuel help. We had added additive to help it from gelling but wasn't enough. Make sure to bring 911 something to help start it. We're definitely buy it. Owner very helpful and answered even tho New Year's Day.

I contacted an RV park to make a reservation for one night in Wickenburg. They charged my credit card to hold the space. I thought my reservation was at Desert Cypress, another park in Wickenburg. We went there and I was told we didn't have a reservation. I checked my account and saw a charge from this park...Horspitality. We then drove there only to find out that they closed at 5:00...it was then about 5:15. There was no information left for us with a space number, which is usually the procedure. I called their number and was told that they were closed for the night but they would issue a credit the next morning. We drove back to Desert Cypress Park and they were also closed. I called and the manager came to the office and she came and helped us. Fortunately they had space available. I can't say enough good things about how we well were treated. She even gave us a discount!! The next day I checked my account for a credit. I waited another day and when it wasn't there I called them. I spoke with the owner and she was very rude. I told her that I was told a refund would be issued and she said she never would have done that. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the person that promised me a refund. Bottom line...if you choose to stay here make sure you are there by 5:00 or you won't have a place to stay.

I am not brave enough to stayed here for the summer. The summer here is extremely hot over +100' F. The star lite nights and sunset here are the worth the stay. This is a low cost laid back snowbird RV campground. The manager Ron drives around on a 4-wheeler. If your dog is good they might get a dog treat from him. Patrons here love their animals. Please pick up any waste. There are limited hours on showers, laundromat, restrooms, trash bend- recycling area, black water-service only $5. If you wish to dump your black water yourself. Great,The black vault is to the right of the restrooms. There are yearly, monthly, daily spots available year. The closest market is Salome Market, 67230 US-60, Salome, AZ 85348. There you can find propane, gasoline, groceries, liquor, and laundry. We are the people, Respect each person. We all volunteer here in one way or another. The lodge is a great place for socializing. The main door has all info about upcoming events. Some of the events are as follows: Petunia, ladies craft days, kid fun, dinners, mail service, and games nights. Though on Wine Wednesday ladies walk around the park. The park is about one mile around. The gentleman meet up at the fireplace in the lodge and drink coffee before petunia. It is nice to use a Honda or a quiet generator. If you have to use a generator. The noise carries a long way in the desert. Please respect the hours allotted to run the generator. If you have medical conditions, you are able to use a generator at night. Make sure to bring a mountain or e-bike. One of my favorite things to do is mountain bike the desert. Make sure to bring boots, sunglasses, hat, and plenty of water. Little secret the best hiking trail is Harquahala Mountain Trailhead. Please check out my photos!
