When Ollie started on the fitting, it quickly became apparent that the door was the wrong size, it was warped because I'd stored it improperly, and the frame was badly out of alignment. None of this caused Ollie to drop his cheery smile, and even though the job clearly took MUCH longer than he would have expected, he happily finished the job to a very high standard, after facing every possible problem imaginable! Not once did Ollie start to frown, tut-tut, and suggest that the job would be more expensive than his quote. I also had a summerhouse which had just been delivered, and a few days later, Ollie put the summerhouse up (without any problems this time!). John & Ed arrived and after talking through exactly what I wanted doing, got to work. They did an excellent job and were happy to stop when I wanted to check things out, before moving on. They did exactly as I wanted and were patient and courteous whilst I sorted through the bits of logs I wanted to keep. They did a final check with me that I was happy before doing a complete clean up of any mess left. You wouldn't even know they'd been here it was left so tidy. An excellent job by a super team. Big thanks to John & Ed ....and to Richard who initially came to quote who was so knowledgeable about the different variety of trees and gave me good guidance on what needed doing. We had a tree we wanted chopping down and also needed the root taken out as we wanted to put a patio down and the guys at RW Green made pretty light work of it. One shop seems to concentrate more on 'classic' hardware items - paints, nails, sandpaper and the like. The next door shop is more oriented towards general homewares - pet foods, haberdashery, toasters.....it is difficult to see how such a wide range of goods is available in two very small shops, but they manage it. The friendly staff will help advise you with anything you need, and although I'm not sure how long it has been there, I get the impression this has been a local institution for some time.

(You do hear horror stories.) There was a small glitch over the starting date due to staff illness, but otherwise everything ran smoothly and efficiently. It's a small house with very little extra space to leave stuff. We were having the walls, ceiling and floor done at the same time - all arranged with B&H Kitchens - but Darren the fitter had everything sorted out without any fuss and a minimum of inconvenience. The standard of work is excellent and we are very pleased with the end result. It's always good when you are dealing with helpful, friendly people, for whom nothing seems like too much trouble. Their installation team were all really reliable and friendly and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. The natural flooring is naturally expensive but as Davey attests, it looks great, is more environmentally friendly and hard-wearing. At the moment, they have a selection of sisal, coir, seagrass and jute flooring but the stock changes constantly. For those looking for a small piece of flooring for a bathroom or single bedroom, they have a great selection of end of roll carpets and vinyl at the front of the store. These starts around £10 and go up to about £100 with the measurements clearly stated.
