My point is, I am not used to hospitals and didn't know what to expect. It was a wonderful experience. I had knee surgery- went through the ER and stayed on the ortho floor- 2 North. It was a very humbling experience coming out of surgery and being helpless. I had to use the bedpan first night and second day the rolling commode. The nursing staff- on all levels- nurses, Assistant nurses etc were top notch! Very caring and friendly. The place was very clean and the food was surprisingly good. The doctors took great care of me as well. Nobody wants to go to the hospital, but if you have to, I recommend Huntington Hospital.

The physician who took care of me was Dr. Jennifer Steele. She was excellent. The laceration was above my right eye. The lacerations were sutchered at the Bellmore location and I had them removed in Levittown. Dr. Steele was caring, professional easy going, which made the whole experience positive and while I don't plan to cut myself in the near future it's comforting to know there are doctors like Jennifer nearby.
