Referral department is a hot mess!! Spoke to some lady regarding what needed to be included on a referral based on what the pediatrician ordered and now I have to a schedule another visit for the dr to request another referral for a mri that could've been included in the initial referral. My experience at this clinic today was very disappointing, primarily due to the way I was treated by one of the receptionists. I arrived with my two-year-old son because we have both been sick for several days. I want to start by acknowledging that I made a mistake regarding the appointment time: the appointment was actually at 2:45 p.m., but I had understood it to be at 12:45 p.m. I take full responsibility for that error. However, getting the time wrong does not justify being treated in an unkind and unempathetic manner. The receptionist insisted that both my son and I wear masks. I immediately agreed to put mine on and had no issue with that instruction. I simply explained that my son is only two years old, is sick, and would not tolerate wearing a mask. Her response--delivered in a tone I found unnecessarily unpleasant--was to insist that "yes, he *will* be able to." Furthermore, when another person there asked for a mask, the receptionist replied--in front of everyone else--that no, the masks were only for us because *we* were the ones who were sick. I fully understand that a clinic has measures in place to prevent the spread of illness, and I am willing to comply with them. What I do not consider necessary is singling out a patient in that manner in front of others--especially a mother who has arrived sick, seeking medical care for her young son. When I finally realized the appointment was actually at 2:45 p.m., I decided to cancel and leave. I could have waited, but after the treatment I received, I no longer felt comfortable staying there, nor did I want to proceed with the consultation. I also want to acknowledge that the second receptionist I spoke with was respectful; she offered to reschedule the appointment for Monday and apologized for what had happened. I sincerely appreciate the way she treated me. I am not writing this because I was upset about being asked to wear a mask, nor because I want to hold the clinic responsible for my mistake regarding the time. I am writing this because the way things are said matters. People arriving at a clinic are generally not having their best day. They arrive sick, worried, in pain, or--as in my case--concerned about a young child. Empathy and respect should be a fundamental part of the care provided from the moment a patient walks through the door. I didn't leave today because I had misunderstood my appointment time. I left because the way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable entrusting my child's care to that facility. read more

Recently came in to bring my daughter and had a really good experience. There's many new faces now and overall a much better visit. The pediatrician has always been great but staff never really seemed to help out her reputation. The guy working with my daughter was great, very respectful and attentive. He seems to care about his patients and engages with the kids as well. The doctor is great, always so nice and willing to go above and beyond to meet patients' needs. Would recommend to take your kids here. Reviews don't help but I do believe changes have been made to improve the clinic. read more

Dr. Buenrostro is wonderful, unfortunately she is not enough for me to take my children back to that clinic. I requested an early appointment so that I would be able to get to work on time. I arrive at 7:30am (that's the time they said they were able to accomodate me) and didn't see the Dr till 10:12am! after my child was seen by the Dr. the nurse comes to inform me about the vaccines my child will be receiving. She then leaves and comes back 10 min after and tells me that she has to reschedule my appointment because they don't have vaccines that my private insurance covers. You would think that they checked their inventory to accommodate their patients beforehand, but why check before if they can do while the patient is in the waiting room. read more

Dr. Wang is the best!! Very sad to see Dr. Perez (pediatrician) leave. Didn't realized how long the wait is, that is until I started working. It's a very long wait, even tho they call a day before to tell u to come 15mins early we still wait at least a hour to see the dr. I have had sooo many problems with his clinic, from showing up and there being no Dr., waiting over 2hrs when there is a doctor and them running out of vaccines. Some of the staff really want to help and are sincere when they listen yet others don't even make eye contact. Too many mistakes!! I'm stuck here bec I LOVE Dr. Wang but since Dr. Perez isn't here no long my kids get to switch. read more

I'm very disappointed with this place. The pediatrician and the general practitioner are great however, my problem is with the staff. I don't understand why they chose a nursing career when they clearly lack empathy for the patients and do the bare minimum for their job. Their work ethic can be described the same way as the DMV, slow and inefficient. If they can't schedule people correctly then at least let them know it would be longer. That way people let their work know or prepare for the wait. They had my family waiting for 1.5hrs and then had the audacity to pass people ahead of us even though we had scheduled an appointment. My mom ended up leaving because they let her know they cut my sisters insurance and that's why the clinic was almost refusing to see my little sister. My mother was in tears when I got home because my sister didn't get the help she needs. How can they refuse to see her... how can you refuse a sick child because of insurance? We would have paid cash but this is our 3rd time at the clinic and they haven't been able to help her. We would go to another clinic but my sister has been going there since she was little. They have all her paperwork and they would be the ones to recommend her to the specialist that she needs to see. It's so disappointing seeing people take advantage of their position and not want to to help the people who seek help especially knowing this clinic is in a minority community. It breaks my heart knowing that they treat our community this way and unfortunately nothing happens because most people can't voice their opinion because they might be undocumented or uninformed. So please go to another clinic and if you can't because this one is the closest don't let yourself be belittled and let them know you have rights. I ask that the clinic reevaluates their staff and try to hold them accountable because that's what any other job would do. read more

This clinic will have you on hold for 2+ hours, I think the only reason why your number goes down in the que is because people hang up from being tired of waiting so long! They do not let you come in woth out an appointment but how the hell are you suppost to make an appointment if they dont answer the phone! My children are patients at the downtown center. It has gone done in recent years! I've visited other locations, in search of a better experience! They are not operating up to OSHA's ethnical guidelines. I heard a vendor complaining that they should be shut down because the patients are breathing in asbestos! I rarely write reviews but I had to on this one, so I've been to this clinic maybe 3 or 4 times and each time they are SUPER slow . they forget and loose my documents and I have to redo everything all the time it's so stressful, I went Monday and was told to make an appt they told me they'll do it for me and never did !! I was taking my kids for years to this place even tho the front office girls are so rude and lazy and management sucks and the waiting time is ridiculous long the Dr are great with my kids , until the last time I went I parked through the back street and seen the Lead guy getting high with other staff I couldn't believe that I let this people give my children vaccines . As an essential worker, I know what it takes to treat others with the utmost respect and EMPATHY!!! My kid's Dr. is great. Unfortunately, the staff here is not. I have to agree with all of the negative reviews here, ZERO stars. During the summer I needed my son's immunization records to register him for camp out in Virginia, I went in person and was redirected to an email and telephone number. It took 11 business days. Now that kids are back to school, I need a sports physical form to be filled out by his doctor for football. I emailed it last Wednesday and expressed to Sagrario how urgent this matter was. Her response, "I understand, we will call you by the end of day today to let you know IF the doctor gets to it." The doctor is only in Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This means that if the doctor doesn't get the forms tomorrow, Wednesday, I will have to wait another week for them! My son missed an entire year and a half without playing football because of COVID and he will now need to wait another year because the forms will not be submitted on time! I even called the 800 number, spoke to Phillip, he called the Bell office and tried to escalate the matter, they told Phillip she was out to lunch and couldn't speak to her. Can't imagine treating my clients this way in a time of need. read more

The women in the front desk are useless, have an attitude, are rude, and won't do anything to help you. All they do is tell you to wait a little longer and tell you that you'll be next just to shut you up. I wouldn't give any stars to this place. The wait time is about 2 hours before they even pass you. If you have lab work it still takes hours (it sucks especially if you have to fast). Whenever I call they take a while to answer and hang up. I call and they keep hanging up. I have to go to the clinic every time just to ask something. Sometimes medicine is said to be sent to the pharmacy but hasn't been sent yet. The front desk is always chit chatting. Every time I call them for info because I am at a specialist it is always such a hassle and end up having to leave my app there. They have people there and still have to be on hold for a while. I only go to this clinic because it is closer to me. I had to insist to a doctor about an illness. I had to self diagnose and be insistent it was something serious. Only then could I get a referral. It turns out I was right. When I have lab papers ready they make me set up an app with a doctor for them to discuss it. I already know what it is for, but they insist on wasting my time. A few doctors give attitude as well. The wait time is just ridiculous seeing as they have many staff there. The security guard is always: sleeping, on his phone, or gossiping. read more
