Seriously though, there's a reason why they've lasted so long, and keep running a successful school, and that is consistency. Twenty years apart, my son and his mother both attended Bair's, and both had the same impressions - how they learned a lot and were kept engaged in class (which is no small feat considering the subject matter), and how both really enjoyed driving different kinds of vehicles, and getting the different perspectives and philosophies of different instructors. These people obviously care about how our kids drive after classes Are long over and done with, and as the parent of a teen in today's world, I appreciate that. All the schools appear to cost right around the same price, but this one in my opinion, has stood the test of time by just being better. Again, that is just my opinion.

Teacher was extremely rude while student was driving. He would talk about beating people up, and would complain about everything, but whenever the student would ask what to do, he would act like they should already know what road they should take, when to park, etc. He was overall very rude. He also let people get away with cheating, and would give his favorite students the answers on the permit test. NOT FAIR AT ALL.

When we got that straightened out, she started driving with a particular teacher and things were going well. Then that teacher was no longer available and everything ground to a halt. Every time she tries to reach Mr. Kelly, he doesn't answer his phone, or his voice mailbox is full. When she does reach him and tells him times she won't be available, he suggests they drive on that day! The latest thing was the "parent drive" for which I took time off of work. He never showed. Later he said he was waiting for us at the high school. This appears to be a pattern; we aren't the only people who've had to chase after him to complete the process.. Is it because he doesn't care? (I wouldn't think so -- he's a teacher, after all) Is it because he's so disorganized? I don't know, but this has been a terribly frustrating experience for us. I would not recommend. My next child will go somewhere else.
