Sounds hard to believe, but my fiancé was cussed at and kicked out of the store for doing literally…read morenothing wrong. He had spoken to a sales associate and described the item he was looking for several times til he needed to ask the owner about it. Neither knew of this product, and both suggested something that wouldn't work. (I'll add that it was not their fault to not stock the item, not a particularly common thing) After the owner insisted the item they had would work, he quietly turned away toward the exit. Before he reached the door, the owner called out that he was an ***hole and needed to leave. He asked him to repeat it in case he misunderstood. He then kept telling me my new title and threatened to call the police if he didn't leave. He tried to remind him he was a regular customer whom the employees were familiar with, but he only continued. We have never met an owner so eager to dismiss customers, that it didn't even require adequate reason. Absolutely horrid man who doesn't deserve the helpful staff he has under his rule. Also doesn't help that he's the owner, Larry, and corporate can't do anything to help all of these people talking about how terrible he is, including his employees. I wish there were negative stars. Maps puts you on the wrong side of the road though so if your maps tell you where it is and you do not see it, it's across the street. We were greeted by the cashier as soon as we walked in. We needed some help locating items and a man came up to us and took the time to walk us to each item - rather than just saying the aisle number. They have typical hardware stuff, paint, nuts , bolts, and a gorgeous wind chime collection. So much easier than Home Depot. And friendly service with a smile.

The state is brandishing the highest numbers of covid deaths and cases in our country and this is how you behave? I am very disappointed. Basically, the people working here could be very capable but I find them seriously lacking respect for others. Use the curbside pick up if you can or better yet avoid the store. We asked that old dish washer be put in the garage. When we came home, old dish washer was gone. When I called the store to ask, where my old dish washer was at. That experience was torturous, it literally took 3 hours to buy an electric range that was sitting right there on the floor! It took 3 different ( mostly inexperienced),.. I could write a book about the layers of incompetence,..no time for that now. So when my microwave went out I dropped into Sears Hometown Store and Bam! I was in & out in less than 15 minutes. The next week I thought wonder if I can get a freezer! Bam! Took less than 15 minutes and the home delivery was set up. Have a nice day! Go do something other then herd the clowns around at Big Box.
