They would put me on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnect the line. So I was furious that after 3 tries I still was not able to make an appointment. After all I decided to drive to the office and try my luck in person. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by front desk person. The young girl tried to accommodate me with the same say appointment and offered me to come back 3 hours later for the CT scan test. I returned in few hours, right away was checked in and was called for my test. It was very quick test and when I was about to leave they told me the results would take few days to receive. Next day I received the call from doctor who told me the result was ready . Very quick and professional service.

I had to have a breast biopsy on the right side. My doctor recommended Abington and I made my…read moreappointment as soon as I could. Lucky for me, the radiology group at Abington hospital was able to get me in 1 day later because I was a basket case on the phone. I can not speak more highly about Dr. Woodfield, the radiologist who did my biopsy. She was so kind and caring and totally understood my anxiety and took so much time to describe to me what will happen and talked me though the whole procedure. Dr. Woodfield and her assistant kept asking me how I was doing and if I needed a break. So thoughtful and caring. When you go there, you check in with the reception front desk and fill out a few forms. The typical forms that you would fill out at a doctors office for the first time. Then you wait for them to call your name. Then you go back and change into hospital gown and to the back where the biopsy will be done. I felt so at ease when I first met Dr. Woodfield. And the best part, the biopsy was not cancer. I wasn't given the option to request which doctor that would do the biopsy, but I lucked out.
