The park has a walking track that runs about 3/4 of a mile. The park has soccer and baseball fields, tennis/pickleball courts and a picnic shelter. The playground for kids is in excellent condition with a three-story climbing tower and multiple slides. There are picnic tables nearby for the adults to sit while the kids burn off some energy. In today's event it was nice to come out and check out the locals and see a couple of people from Johnson's Corner Farm. Like Aaron & some other people from there. It got a bit chilly towards 7PM but it was worth the wait because Little Georgie got a trophy for his 2018 GT Mustang. I'm so proud of him. Today was a fun, fulfilling day. I can't wait what else is in store for us in the present and future. Anyways, If you love cars like I do, this car show is the one you'll like to come out too. We came here with our two year old granddaughter on a Friday late afternoon. There were almost no…read morepeople here, which was great. This was our first time on any rides, and we went on the train first. The train made four laps around the track. For the first two lapse, our granddaughter was getting used to the train. By the third lap, she was OK and started pointing things out and enjoying it. By the fourth lap, it was all smiles and excitement. We also bought a ticket for the boats, and we're the only people there. But she was not ready to ride by herself, so that got nixed. We were going to get tickets for the carousel but the little one was getting tired so we left to head home. All of the people working there were super polite and friendly. The park was spotless and well maintained. The cost of the rides was only a dollar or a dollar fifty, which is a steal. They had snacks beside the ticket booth, but we didn't have any. All in all, this is a wonderful place for families or even couples to just enjoy the beauty. Five stars all day long!

Hahaha but this park is incredible for the size of town it is in. It not only has multiple poop bag dispensers but it also has multiple trash cans spaced all around the park. It has a nice watering facility that you could also wash your dog off with as soon as you come in the gate. It has a nice brick walk path all the way out to a nice brick patio that is right in the middle of the dog park that has benches and multiple places to sit down. It appears that someone has made a very nice watering station right in the middle of the seating area. They have multiple bowls and multiple bottles of water. The dog park itself is very flat and easy to walk around. Although the actual parking lot is kind of small. But there are plenty of old growth trees, grass, and all kinds of dirt and leaves!! I found it going for a walk one day…read more This park is absolutely peaceful and memorials for the one who served in the Air Force which is amazing. The eagle statue stand between the American flag and the North Carolina State flag. The arboretum is very well kept you and definitely tell the town of Burlington puts in the finances into keeping their parks well kept and maintained. This is where I would come to take walk or just sit in the grass and relax and take it all in. I've considered moving to NC and if I decided to make that move Burlington will definitely be where I'll call home.
