I've finally started looking elsewhere for my primary care. Simple tasks such as returning messages or calling me to discuss recent blood work proves to be too difficult for the doctor and his staff. As I'm writing this review, I'm still waiting on a phone call (I've left messages for 6 straight business days). After my physical last year, I had to randomly show up at their office for a copy of my lab work because 2 weeks of messages went unanswered. The specialist that is evaluating me is also having difficulty obtaining labs and records from this office, which is now delaying my treatment plan. The new and improved "patient portal" was supposed to make access to information so much easier, but its become the biggest nightmare of all. Complete and incomplete test results will be uploaded prior to the doctor reviewing them, or sometimes not uploaded at all - which puts me right back into the phone tag cycle. Incompetence + lack of urgency + poor communication = a bad formula for any type of health care office. If you're visiting a doctor, chances are you're dealing with a problem that needs promptness, compassion, and education. You'll find none of those things at this office.

I am trying to find out if I am being quoted based on age alone or if there were other factors. I feel pretty penalized at the moment as I believe the highest price is 400 a month. ;( I will update this review as I learn more and let you decide if this model is worthwhile, considering that it costs an arm and a leg, and will also be doing a VLOG on this style of medicine. I…read morehave always felt that the small monthly fee they charge was well justified by a really higher standard of care, easy access to your doctor, etc. Recently however, Dr Durani, my current Diamond physician, showed such huge value in a way that is easy to explain. Here is what happened. I fell and hurt both knees, and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Initially the docs had trouble diagnosing what was wrong, and the internist assigned at the first hospital was weak. I was able to spend time on the phone getting advice from Dr Durani each day, both helping me try to help with the diagnosis, and keeping my spirits up. We found an orthopedic surgeon who made an immediate and correct diagnosis, but he planned to be on vacation, delaying my surgery for 10 days, not a plan I liked. Dr Durani took my cryptic diagnosis and used his own network of physician friends to try to find a surgeon to give me a second opinion. He found me Dr Brigham Au through his friend Dr Ken Estrera. Both of these folks are skilled orthopedic and sports injury surgeons. I explained my situation to Dr Au and he felt the hospital I was at already had wasted too much time, and time to repair was important. He and Dr Estrera went to work starting at 5pm that night, got the surgery scheduled for the following morning at a hospital where they had privileges, got me a surgical room at that hospital and got me transferred there by midnight that night. The surgery was done, and it was very successful. The value that Diamond and Dr Durani provided in getting this to happen for me pays their monthly fees far in advance in my opinion. But Dr Durani has not stopped helping. I am still in the hospital and need advice about rehab facilities. I plan to talk to Dr Durani this afternoon about which facility to pick. Dr Durani is really is a doctor like we used to have, who has time and cares about each patient. I hope to continue in his practice for a long time.

My wife has an old injury. Treated successfully with modalities and physical therapy under direction of a specialist in the past. When the injury was reactivated recently my wife requested physical therapy referral. Dr. Reddy not only refused but insisted the only way she could treat was with muscle relaxants. My wife is an RN and cannot be lathargic from muscle relaxers. Dr Reddy threatened to stop treating my wife unless she agreed to her treatment plan. Dr. Reddy is a doctor who obviously thinks she is specialized when she's an FP. Contradicted advice on modalities.

She has always been professional, friendly, listened to my concerns, explained her diagnosis and detailed the treatment plan. Several months ago when my mother need a new doctor I took her to Dr. Reddy. Dr. Reddy has taken good care of her and my mother couldn't be happier/healthier. Her staff is awesome! Dr. Hall's approach is to advise and treat you to prevent illnesses and will allow you to improve and extend your life. Her process and care are probably something that you never experienced or knew existed. Her annual physicals include extensive blood analysis to identify hidden issues that can be corrected before they become a problem. Her specialty is heart health, but she is well versed, educated and certified in many areas of adult human physiology, and medicine. Her staff and office personnel are very pleasant, well trained, and efficiently organized. You will never wait longer than five minutes to see the doctor once you arrive for an appointment. Also, never once was I not able to book a same day appointment. This is one great benefit of having a Concierge Membership. Regarding results, I just completed my eighth year of her care and physicals. Due to her consultations and advice, my recent health report is the best it has ever been. It has been a journey, but well worth it. But I am now choosing to look elsewhere because of a shocking new and dangerous policy they just put in place. It has been one year since my last visit when I was prescribed one year on my blood-pressure medication. I submitted a refill request with my pharmacy five days ago. They did not respond to the pharmacy. The pharmacy put in the request again and the request was denied with no explanation. I called the clinic and was told there are no grace periods. It has been one year and they would not refill my prescription until I came in for an appointment. The staff member refused to acknowledge my concerns about an in person visit until I was fully vaccinated for Covid-19. In fact, she made me feel like my concerns were not valid. I was told insurance would no longer pay for phone consultations. I had to come to the clinic. I asked for one month. In that time I could be fully vaccinated. I was denied. She said it was a strict policy and there was nothing she could do. No refills until an appointment. I am in complete shock. I told her that policy was unreasonable and that if they cared so little about their patients that I would have to make a change. Without a care in her voice she said "ok". Well I am not "ok". My blood-pressure is thru the roof. I can not believe they would rather have me go to the emergency room than give me any additional time on the prescription. All so they can make money on the appointment? That is cold.
