I can't believe this police department I wasn't speeding. They randomly drive up to me and get…read morereally close to me at 3 AM on a dark road and nobody's around scared me half to death. I pulled over into a parking lot because I wanted the person to stop being so close to my back bumper then they turn their lights on and pull their guns out at me And I am white guy in an expensive car. They ran my license plate. I'm sure and they know everything's up to snuff. I have insurance registration inspection everything I swear I will never drive through Lancaster again late at night scariest thing that ever happened to me in a really long time, they tell me to slow down I I sped up because there's a car following me really close and it was scaring me. They didn't even say sorry for scaring you, sir. I literally had my hands out the windows. I thought I was gonna get shot. What is wrong with you? People at this police department you're too aggressive pulling people over in the middle of the night, trying to give everybody damn tickets, go get a job! If you guys worked for a living, you wouldn't have to give so many damn tickets!

Literally just went to the Lancaster Bureau of police to get an accident report for a car accident…read more& I understand that this isn't Philadelphia but in Philly, the police gave me the surveillance video of the accident & not even for court related purposes, so I go in today with my husband & ask if the accident report came with the surveillance video & the black women who attended me LAUGHED IN OUR FACES & Got smart with us & said "You aren't privileged enough to get a video" like excuse me?? On top of that, she had AirPods in her ears listening to music that I was able to hear. She was very unprofessional!! Even as we walked out of the 3rd floor office she was still laughing at us & saying things out loud VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I guess people think just because they work at a police station they can treat people any type of way smh. Who ever was that lady working Thursday June 29th at 10:29am on the 3rd floor with a high bun should be fired!

Took 45 min and three separate calls until I had to flag an officer down myself. On The second…read morecall, I spoke directly to dispatch after being transferred there from 911 In which they just straight up lied to me saying they had no way to communicate to the officers. After flagging down an officer and them getting updated, He told me he was given the wrong address and that dispatch was rude because people talk to him rudely!so instead of being helpful, he just lies. It concerns me that they didn't have the right address after three separate calls and even giving them my phone number but failed to call. Seems like the department has no sort of organization or communication between officers and dispatch. Unfortunately, after reading about how bad crime is in Baltimore County... I fully understand why.

I visited Baltimore about a month ago…read more I got off of the Amtrak train from New York City and walked around the city - sightseeing. While sitting at a bench in Carroll Park minding my own business, a Baltimore PD helicopter hovered above me as if I was a fugitive on the run. I figured that it must be some kind of mistake. I mean, I was just sitting there on a bench in front of a tree! Sitting. Nothing else. Sitting. Not eating, not drinking, not talking on the phone, just sitting. After resting at Carroll Park for about an hour I resumed walking around, sightseeing. Again, bothering no one. Just walking. And again, the helicopter continued to follow me around, beaming its spotlight on me from the sky several times like the plan was to project me up to the mothership. The discriminatory experience of being singled out and overtly harassed in plain sight, was emotionally distressing, demoralizing, felt utterly dehumanizing, and after a few times of this, it was clear that I was not being followed around by a Baltimore PD helicopter by chance. It was initially my intention to go and visit the Edgar Allen Poe gravesite the next day, but after Google mapping the distance from my hotel at Inner Harbor to the late poet's gravesite, I didn't feel safe trying to travel and visit it. I didn't want the Baltimore PD to terrorize me with their HELICOPTER for being a tourist trying to do tourist-y things in their pristine, perfect little city that clearly isn't accepting of African-American tourists. I mean, we're in 2022! It wasn't traumatizing at all. Awful people. Truly awful.
