They gave me a new account and card but never did close the old account. They had also given me A new card for the old account. Well eventually that account did end up getting closed and today I got paid and the greedy Woodforest crooks took The money that I need to pay my bills and feed my family and offset it to the closed account that had a balance of $0.00. Prior to 30 June 2014 you had day of deposit access to $100.00 of your deposit, with full availability of remainder of deposit following day. Effective 30 June 2014 a new policy goes into effect that you will no longer have access to $100.00 of deposit until following business day. If you are a working person that deposits on a Friday after 2 in afternoon, you will not have access to initial 100.00 until possibly the following Tuesday, and not have full access to funds until Wednesday. If you are a person that is not able to be paid with direct deposit, I would not recommend this bank.
