The new Staff and Providers really make you feel welcome and take the time to listen to you. There is a new Man there I can't think of his name but he walks around and says hello to you in the lobby as he passes by he appears to have a good relationship with the staff the all speak very highly of him and offer the ability to talk with him if there is an issue. We have been in Hibbing for many years and with Essentia for all of them, I have really noticed the difference since the summer of 2019.

I dread checking out and having to schedule a follow up appointment because I know they are going to be rude and snappy as if I'm wasting their time. They always make you feel unwelcome - I can't think of many times I've had an interaction with one of them that they haven't snapped at me. I actually put off and avoid calling to make appointments - I use MyHealth whenever possible for scheduling because they are so freaking rude and mean. Today my roommate had an appointment that was apparently canceled and he wasn't notified. Well, the lady, of course, started snapping and getting this unwarranted attitude; so much so that he left without making another appointment. If my wonderful family doctor who I've seen all my life wasn't at Essentia in Hibbing, there's no way I would ever go there. They just ruin your day. As if going to the clinic wasn't crappy enough already!

Amazing staff on December I had trouble seeing and on pain. They saw me right away and said I had…read moredry eye, and gave me the medication I needed on New Year's Eve. By New Year's Day I was in so much pain I went to the Emergency Department. They gave me two pain tablets while I was there. Then I was given a bottle of numbing drops and told to use them sparingly. Since they couldn't write me for pain medication. Luckily Eye North texted me on the third. When they found out what I was using they both came into the office to meet me. These drops caused coronial erosion. They put a very expensive placenta cover on my eye hoping to rebuild the coronial. When that didn't work, they referred me to a specialist and I just got the eye patch off last week. If they hadn't checked in on me I probably would have lost the sight in one eye
