The Captain added some commentary; but we couldn't hear him through the audio. Tour is in Thunder Bay - just outside Alpena - you leave from the museum. Tours are at 10:00, 1:00 and, 4:00 My recommendation - get there 90 minutes before the shipwreck tour - tour the museum, take the tour - and stop in the gift shop on the way out. We got there at 11:30 and left at 3:15. ------------- p.s. - Yelp also has something for the Great Lakes Maritime Museum - it is the same place as this.

ACC continues to make going back to school after 15 years an absolute nightmare. The new one for…read morethis semester is that instructor Matt Bedard got his feeling so hurt so bad, apparently, by inappropriately handling a situation involving the death of my grandmother that he is being allowed by the college to retaliate against me. Multiple majors are now unavailable to me because ACC is allowing their staff to ban me from their classes. Not because I did anything wrong, but because a grown man got his feelings hurt. Each day is a new fresh hell. I absolutely wouldn't recommend anyone take classes here.

You can leave your license with them for a gate key so you don't have huff it out to the firing lines. The firing lines do not have RSOs so you will need to agree with your fellow shooters to have a cease fire to check/change targets. The have a trap field but I am not sure how much they charge for using their trap field. I don't believe they have a skeet field. The Thunder Bay Bowmen shoot there for indoor and outdoor archery. There are also several gun leagues that shoot there. If you are driving a bit of a distance to go there, give them a call first to make sure you are not surprised. Their number is on their web page. Also, there are TWO parallel roads named Sportsman Dr! Do NOT take the one to the East. It leads to the back of the airfield and you will probably get some angry military policeman trying to kick you out.
