The wear and tear in our kitchen was noticable and since we are considering selling and currently living in the house, we needed a solution that did not involve sanding and that could address only the most highly trafficked areas. We agreed on refinishing the kitchen area only. There is a slight sheen difference but barely noticeable with furniture, rugs, lamps, etc. and the area that he refinished looks dramatically better than before.
