just left there, would never return. we saw on line they had steaks so we went for that. when we arrived there were paper menus at the table with a couple options, burgers and chicken sandwich, we asked the waitress if this was their full menu, she chuckled and said "it is tonight". since we already ordered our drinks we stayed and ordered a burger and chicken sandwich. my wife sweet potatoes fries came out burnt, normally we don't complaint but they were uneatable. the waitress didn't even acknowledge my wife concerns but did eventually replace the burnt fries. we then heard the booth next to us order steaks and baked potatoes, obviously they were locals and the interaction was completely different as well as the menu. We waited an hour for two sandwiches. When we got them they were not good. You would think in the center of the beef state they would be able to serve a good slice of beef and a hamburger. A shame to the cows butchered only to become a sad burger/sandwich. read more

Go to the other bar, please. Terrible service here, called for an order to go and had gotten 3 meals. Each meal was wrong and when I went to go pick it up they didn't even have it started, so I wasted my time and when I got my food the burgers were charred and overdone. I don't know why but I felt like I gained XP from eating here. Food: Our friend's friend who is from Burwell took us here before visiting the annual Big Rodeo hosted in town. The sloppy joe filling was pretty good, but the bun clearly came from a store bought bag. I mean, it's hard to expect much more because this place isn't exactly near any urban hubs. Everything else was pretty honest and tasted how it looked. Says no cover on sign outside. Once inside its 5$ for the patio and live band and festivities. They are supposed to start at 430 and here it is 510 and nothing! Cheap beer gets it one star.......and I have to give it one! read more

As a past server I feel that I am pretty understanding as far as service, but I also know how service should look. This place definitely does not have friendly service. VERY slow. We waited 1.5 hours for our food (and the food was nothing to get excited about.) A couple cheeseburgers, salads and some bull fries. The ceiling above our table was moldy and soggy and dripped onto our table and our heads. The bathrooms were gross. After waiting a little over an hour, I asked about how much longer the food might be since we had two small children. At this time it was about 2pm and was not very busy. The waitress stated it would be out right away. We waited another 20 minutes, then I asked her if it would be possible to put it in boxes to take to go. They put all the food into to go boxes and then in plastic bags and stated everything was ready to go. They shorted us a burger and when I came back in she acted very irritated and stated the other burger was sitting right on the counter the whole time (although it was not packaged up with the food she handed us). No discount or apologies were given for the slow, rude service. The burgers were just ok and salad had old lettuce. Way too slow for families or those not wanting to waste 2+ hours on a lunch of sub-par bar food. read more
