Bee Fencing recently completed the replacement of my 30-year-old privacy fence. The fence was in a…read morestate of disrepair, leaning precariously and hindering the operation of my lawnmower. The removal, disposal and replacement of 321 feet of fence took approximately four days. The original 4x4 posts were typically cut to ground level to prevent tripping hazards. Instead, steel poles were driven into the ground at least two feet, and treated boxes were strategically placed around them to conceal the poles on three sides. These boxes were constructed on-site, mirroring the robust and heavy gates. The boxes were securely attached to the steel poles using hardened steel fasteners, commonly referred to as Ram-Set Nails. The top of the boxes featured lateral rails, while three horizontal rails provided support for the pickets. In contrast, my previous fence only had two rails for picket support. These rails are the most straight and sturdy 20-foot-long 2x4s I have ever encountered. The top rail, with its wide face facing upwards, is likely to become a "Squirrel Expressway" in the future. The Bee Fencing crew, comprising up to six individuals depending on their workload, demonstrated exceptional professionalism. There was no verbal abuse, profanity, or music that disrupted the tranquility of my neighborhood. These young men were highly focused, transporting heavy pressure-treated lumber from their trucks to the backyard with remarkable efficiency. They also meticulously transported the old fence to their trucks with the same precision. At the conclusion of each day, they meticulously packed their tools and maintained the grounds. On the final afternoon, as the crew completed the installation of the last gate, I conducted a perimeter inspection and discovered only seven nails in the grass, with four of them attached into a strip. Throughout my career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for over three decades, I dedicated myself to assisting individuals in developing effective work habits or reintegrating into the workforce. The Bee Fencing crews operating during the past week exemplified the principles I consistently sought to impart to my clients. I learned a valuable lesson Read every quote and email you get immediately. If you have questions email them but If you don't get a reply back when you think you should, call them, don't assume that they received your email. Be sure if you change your ideas everyone is aware. Communication is the only way to ensure you get what you expected. Even though I'm not getting a fence. Their management is top notch!!!

Milan Fence Iron & Construction installed a wooden fence on our new home in early February. The…read morewood paneling that was chosen by their company to be installed was of poor quality. Many of the wooden posts immediately began to rot in addition to some of the paneling. We spoke directly to the owner and he stated that he would come and replace the wood if we provided him with images of the damaged wood. We took plenty of photos and we also took an 11 minute video of the damage. The photos and the video were provided to him. The owner claimed that the wood came from Home Depot and that he would show them the images and the video to them to get new wood. It has been several months of back and fourth since then. We have continuously requested for the company to come out and replace the wood and we have also requested to be provided with receipts of the wood purchase from Home Depot. The company has made SEVERAL arrangements on when they intended to appear to fix our fence but has yet to show. This is all in a text chain. That company has also not provided us with receipts of the transaction of the wood. I believe the wood was not purchased from Home Depot but rather recent company that they took 27k worth of mechandise from on a bounced check. I believe this is why they cannot return or replace the wood. I also believe this is why a receipt will not be provided. Myself, in addition to the other company, are filing lawsuits. Our fence was nearly 5k and I intend to have a quality fence in which I paid for. I do NOT recommend this company at all! It has been a terrible experience and an expense not worth the hassle or dishonesty.

My experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving was extremely stressful and devastating. I…read morepaid for a full-service move, but key services were not completed, the cost exceeded the quote, and the overall handling of my move fell far below expectations. I hired this company because I needed help with a full move, including packing and assembly. My quote was around $2,900 and included services that were not actually completed. They did not pack my home as expected, leaving me to continue packing during the move, and despite those services not being done, the final cost ended up being even higher than the original quote. In addition, the move was delayed by a day and a half. On the morning I was expecting them, I was actively communicating with someone managing the move and had already provided my gate code. He later claimed I missed a call from headquarters, but I was under the impression that I was already speaking with the appropriate contact. Despite being present and in communication, I was not moved that day. I was also told they were closed on Sundays, which was not accurate, and I was unable to get additional boxes when I needed them. I had clearly communicated that I needed the remaining items packed, but that was not done. The move itself became chaotic. Their truck broke down, the move dragged on for hours, and my belongings did not arrive at my new home until around 9:00 PM. The movers were at my home until approximately midnight, and after all of those hours and the amount of money I paid, my home was still not livable. Nothing was assembled or set up in a way that allowed my family to even sleep there that night. Instead of being able to settle into our home after a professional move, I was left in the middle of the night trying to figure out where my children and I could sleep because the house was not functional or safe to stay in. Boxes and furniture were placed in ways that blocked hallways and access through the house, with heavy items stacked on fragile ones. Items were placed randomly instead of in organized rooms, leaving me unable to find what I needed, and the garage was filled to the point that I could barely function in my own home. All boxes were labeled as well. One of the biggest reasons this was so upsetting is that my daughter was recovering from ACL and meniscus surgery. I specifically needed this move handled professionally so we could have a safe, accessible living space, but instead we were left navigating around piles of belongings and blocked areas. Assembly was also supposed to be part of the service, but it was not completed as expected. Beds and other necessary pieces were not put together, leaving us without the basic setup we needed after a major move. Because so much was left unfinished and disorganized, it took me three separate trips and extra help to complete my move. It was a total of six hours driving time back-and-forth, but that doesn't count loading the cars and finishing a move by myself, and it caused me to miss two full days of work. I understand that unexpected problems can happen during a move, but what matters is how a company responds. After explaining everything that occurred, I was told they would not provide compensation or a refund adjustment, despite the incomplete services and the condition my home was left in. This was not simply a move that "didn't go perfectly." I paid a significant amount of money for a professional service so my family could transition safely into our new home, and instead I was left overwhelmed, physically exhausted, and still dealing with the aftermath. I reached out to the company and they refused to take any responsibility or compensate me for services i did not received and making this one of the most stressful experiences i have ever had moving. as a solo mom with an injured daughter and two small children, it will take me weeks of not months to get things livable.

Without hesitation, he jumped right in--patient, kind, and so willing to help. Those panels would never have gone up without him! He spent hours carefully cutting and fitting each one around outlets, the vanity, and other tricky areas, making sure everything looked perfect. Even when my husband and I were ready to settle for "good enough," he wasn't--he took panels back down and realigned them until they were flawless. He even removed a glued-on mirror and light fixture just to make sure the finish behind them was seamless. His professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in his work truly stand out.
