When I told her why I was there, her next question was whether I had an appointment. I said no that I just wanted to get a sense of when she be able to do the tattoo and perhaps schedule an appointment. She seemed irritated I even came in. From that point on it just go worse. I'll spare all the details, but she was extremely rude and condescending. When I asked about a ballpark price, that was another fiasco. She gave me a pretty large window of what it might be when other artists I've spoke with were able to give me fairly specific estimates. I've heard her work is mediocre, but the tattoo is really simple and I figured because if it's simplicity, if I could save a few bucks, that would be a good decision. But everything about my short visit was a huge disappointment. I will never ever get a tattoo or anything else from this person. I cannot believe how rude she was.

I got my 3rd tattoo and was excited, I was told since it was small and simple it would be the shop…read moreminimum of about $60, I got there, my tattoo artist is late, no biggie I got nowhere to be and he was fixing his motorcycle brakes, pretty important, and the person I wanted with me was also late, an hour and a half later, I'm filling out the form and my artist is there asking if I was sure I wanted it to be what I said, a blocked out paw print from my cat, asking if I wanted names or shading anything, I said no and he said well see and try out some stuff, while I'm ON THE TABLE he starts going through some changes and I'm to awquard to say no, it turns out really cool a 3d outline of the paw print, and he charges me $100 which I don't have, and they didn't tell me beforehand it was cash only, I managed to pay through Paypal with the receptionist since I don't have 100$ on me and I can make a delayed payment through Paypal, the shop was cool they put on some music after the first hour or so, and I love my tattoo, they didn't give me any after care instructions but since its my 3rd I know what to do, the people were kind and fun to chat with though

Botched Septum Piercing -- DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE…read more The piercer assured me she was able to do septum piercings and she was confident in the placement of my piercing. When the piercing was happening, it took her a long time to get the needle through, and it hurt more than it should have, but because it was my first time getting a facial piercing I didn't know what to expect. A week later, I came in a second time because the piercing was too tight and it was creating indents in my nose, and she widened the piercing for me. At that time she didn't note that anything was wrong with my piercing, but she did encourage me to manually move it into the proper downward position because mine was stuck sticking straight out. I tried moving it into the position as directed but it wouldn't stay. Initially, I thought it was an anatomy thing, but after looking up similar cases online, I began to worry it was pierced improperly. I sought a second opinion from a more experienced piercer and she confirmed that Serenity had pierced my nose not through the sweet spot, but instead through the hard cartilage. Now I have to wait for my septum to heal fully before I can get it repierced properly. Two stars instead of one because they did give me a full refund and Serenity seems like a genuinely kind person, but I don't believe she should be doing any piercings until she does another apprenticeship.

I had to change them out after a few days bc they were embedding and so painful it was waking me up in the middle of the night throbbing. These were piercings number 16 and 17 for me, so I pretty much know the ropes, and this was a jewelry issue for sure. If you go to get piercings here, make sure to advocate for yourself and ask for the longer bars and you should be good.
