I too, have sometimes had to wait a long time for my appointment, but I know that Dr. Mike is probably giving his complete attention to another patient who really needs his help and not cutting them off without understanding their problem in order to give them the best treatment plan. I have had Dr. Mike as my primary care physician for over 15 years and even though the once in awhile late appointments are annoying, I continued with Dr. Mike because he is willing and able to figure out unique treatment plans for people with unique and complex illnesses. I completely trust Dr. Mike and recommend him highly. I also find that all of his staff seem to be patient, kind and considerate showing staff well chosen. The office is always super clean as well. If you want fast and always on time go to a "Doc in a box". If you want a doctor who takes the time to fully understand your condition and symptoms before prescribing the best treatment, then you want Dr. Mike! Consider yourself lucky to live in Anchorage and be able to be seen by this special Dr. Do bring your phone to catch up on news, play games, etc., because sometimes you simply have to wait. :) I am not related to Dr. Mike and although I consider him a friend, I am not a member of his personal friend group.
