I can't afford to spend alot of money and time waiting for the therapist to "play catch up". So about Maddy: I found Maddy through a discount Groupon search. I have now seen her for four visits. I have chronic neck, lower back and siatic issues. Maddy is very much in tune with the amount of pressure needed to relieve your pain issues without overdoing it or overworking it. One of my pet peeves in a massage is when they don't pay attention to the detail (fingers, toes, scalp, etc.) Maddy doesn't have this problem, is very open to suggestion; and as noted in JJ's review, Maddy isn't inclined to drone on forever in conversation; she truly seems she'd rather focus on sending you off to slumberland. The only reason I've given Maddy four instead of five stars is that our client/therapist relationship is still new and we're still building that trust. We are still "fine tuning" my massages to meet my needs. If she continues to exceed my expectations, that fifth star isn't far off.

He addressed me with respect and explained things with words that I could follow and connect to my severe progressive condition. I've been suffering with peripheral neuropathy for over 20 years and at 71 years old, it's taken over, controlling almost every aspect of my life. Dr. Savage confirmed that what I was feeling was caused by my initial diagnosis, CIDP, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinated Polyneuropathy. What a mouthful! The loss of feeling in my toes, feet and fingers, falling over because I couldn't keep my balance, weakness in my arms and legs making them like dead weight and perhaps worst of all, was this fatigue thing. Staying in bed half the morning, going through the motions for 7 to 8 hours and slipping into bed by 7 at night! Tingling??? This is more like loss of life! Everything Dr. Savage said made sense and the fact that he has treated many peripheral neuropathy patients with improved symptoms made me confident that I would see improvement too! He explained it would take time, given it took me over 20 years to get to this point. So is it so unreasonable to take months to feel better? Of course not! So I signed up with a commitment to be a better me. Dr. Savage used acupuncture together with something called ATP, electrical stimulation to fix nerve damage and make my blood go around better. While I didn't feel much of a difference during the first month, I began to notice I had more feeling in my feet at 6 to 8 weeks. I could walk better without losing my balance. It's easier to button my shirt, dress myself. Something was happening! By 3 months, it felt easier to use my arms, walk further and that damn fatigue thing began to lift so I could think straight again.
