Unfortunately, a couple of the trees were in visibly poor condition at the time of planting, with substantial foliage loss in the lower one-third to one-half of the trees. We raised our concerns and were told that there were no other 10-12-foot trees available, and that with proper watering, the trees would recover and fill in from the bottom during the following growing season. Westcoast Nursery did offer to replace the compromised 8-foot tree, but based on what we were told about the trees recovering, we decided to give them a chance rather than proceed with the replacement. It has now been approximately eight months. We have taken very good care of the trees and followed the recommended watering practices, but there has been little to no improvement in the condition of the compromised 12-foot tree. We have made multiple phone calls and sent multiple emails in an effort to resolve the issue directly with Westcoast Nursery. Unfortunately, we were ultimately told by the owner that she would not do anything further to address our concerns. We were also told that there is no warranty on the trees once they have been planted. This has been very disappointing, particularly because we relied on the information provided to us at the time of purchase and planting. Had we understood that there would be no warranty or remedy after planting, we would have approached the purchase differently. At a minimum, we believe the compromised 12-foot tree should be replaced. More broadly, we feel customers should be made fully aware of the condition of trees before purchasing them, particularly when there is significant foliage loss, rather than being reassured that the trees will recover. **Based on our experience, we recommend that future customers carefully inspect every tree before accepting it, especially larger and more expensive trees. If a tree has significant foliage loss or other visible concerns, we would strongly suggest getting any assurances about its condition, expected recovery, replacement, or warranty in writing before proceeding with the purchase and installation.

He apologized, sent the official inspection report via email, and issued a full refund. While this came too late for me to use, I appreciated that the company made things right and honored their hassle-free refund policy. For that reason, I've bumped my review from 1 star to 3 stars. Original review: Disappointed with my experience. I scheduled a chimney inspection with this company because my HOA required it for insurance purposes. The inspector, Danny, arrived late to the appointment window (10AM-12PM), only calling at 12:30 to say he was 15 minutes away. While he was friendly, the inspection itself took less than 10 minutes. It consisted of a quick look inside the chimney and then on the roof. He explained a major issue with the chase cover, gave me a verbal price estimate, and assured me I'd receive a written report with photos "within an hour." Instead, what I received about 30 minutes later was only a repair estimate. There were no photos, no inspection details, nothing I could submit to my HOA. When I followed up by phone and email, I was told "we'll look into it," but weeks later I still haven't received a report. The payment process also felt unprofessional. I was asked to enter my credit card into the inspector's cell phone, which did not feel secure. In the end, I paid for an inspection but only got a repair estimate. My HOA still required another company to perform their own inspection, so I had to pay twice. If you need an inspection report for insurance or HOA requirements, I would not recommend this company.
