My husband and I visited the nursery for the first time this past Saturday, during a quiet morning…read more Chris greeted us (appropriately from about 12 feet away,) and spent about an hour answering my many questions and walking us around the nursery to show us plant after plant. It's November, and everything is dormant, but he was kind enough to show us photos from his mobile phone and explain the growth habits of each plant as it grows. We ended up buying a few things, including a Japanese maple (the coveted "floating cloud" / Ukigumo variety!). The prices were extremely reasonable--very competitive with other nurseries in the area. I even found some great deals on time-tested perennials for only $5! (They need to be planted over, but a 1-gal perennial for $5 is a screaming deal.) It was a relaxed, zero-sales-pressure morning with people who obviously know and enjoy plants. With free local delivery on large ($500+) orders, we expect to be back again in the Spring! (For what it's worth, I am extremely conservative about my exposure to people and COVID, and I felt safe the entire time I was at Woods Creek. It was a nice, rare field trip outside the house.) I would highly recommend a drive to Monroe to escape the pretentious, overpriced, crowded, tchotchke-saturated "plant nurseries" in Bellevue, Shoreline, and Seattle. There's no coffee stand, only hundreds (thousands?) of plants and a few humans who love them.

Great selection with very resonable prices.. Many native varieties also available which is difficult to locate sometimes. Gentleman helped us load our car and wheel the cart from the the back of the nursery. Wonderful and surprising experience. We are so thrilled to find this nursery in our journeys. We will be back.

Found the perfect tree thanks to NurseryTrees.com Prices…read morewere great, communication was great. Delivery made it so easy. I hope I get the chance to buy again. I couldn't be happier.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Avoid this business…read more 1. Delivery Issues & Poor Communication: I contractually paid Nursery Trees a total of $2,474.30 for 5 arborvitae trees and professional installation, expecting premium quality. Instead, my experience was a disaster. I visited the nursery to hand-select my trees and confirmed details via email. On delivery day, the crew brought trees that were only 7.5 to 8 feet tall--far shorter than agreed upon. The foreman admitted he was never told which trees to pick and that nothing was marked. This initial trip and all prior communications were a complete waste of time. 2. Negligent Planting Practices: Weeks later, the second delivery arrived with the correct height. However, during excavation, I warned the foreman (Manuel) that the holes were too shallow. He ignored my feedback and planted all 5 trees with their root balls sticking 6 to 8 inches above the ground. When I showed him my existing, properly flush arborvitaes, he claimed my healthy, established trees were the ones planted incorrectly. 3. Property Damage & Incompetence: In Fall 2025, my sprinkler winterization technician discovered a broken irrigation line shooting water between two of the new trees--direct damage from this company's excavation. I had to personally coordinate and pay for my irrigation company to fix the line while forcing this nursery to return, dig up the trees, and lower them properly. During the replanting, the foreman (Manuel) showed zero professional knowledge. He repeatedly asked me basic questions on how to do his job, including how deep to plant them, which side should face front, and if it was "okay" to bump a tree directly against an adjacent root ball. 4. Failed Final Result: Within 24 hours of their "fix," two of the middle trees began leaning heavily and grew crooked. I notified the management (Zach), but I ultimately refused to let them back on my property. I had to hire an independent, competent local business to fix their mistakes. This company charges premium prices but utilizes untrained labor with zero professional standards. Save your time, money, and yard by going elsewhere.

********************************************************…read more What an absolutely terrible person this Jennifer Wirt was this morning. I called her yesterday to source me hundreds of Daffodils for three weeks from now. In our call I told her I would pick them up in the morning of the event. She told me she ONLY delivers, and asked where they were going. I told her Seatac Hilton Convention Center. She said "Okay" and told me she would check for me. As a business owner, I called multiple places for quotes. This morning, everyone got back to me. The best quote was from Fred Meyer. Jennifer called me back and quoted me a comparable price. I was going to choose her service. I then asked if that price included the delivery fee. She asked again where they were going. I told her Hilton Seatac. She laughed at me and told me she doesnt do Seatac at all. I told her the person I had talked to had told me she ONLY delivers, and that I had offered to pick them up. She got mad and told me that she was who I talked to, and I had requested delivery, and had never told her it was Seatac. So I told her no worries, I had gotten a deal from Fred Meyer and wished her a happy Easter. She hung up on me. Then she called me back and growled at me that I was out of line. That she had worked hard to source the best flowers and I was "Going to go with a f***ing grocery store?!?!?!" I told her she was gaslighting me and being rude and could lose my number. Not only am I going to go to a grocery store, but I am letting everyone know, as a Local Guide, that the lady I worked with was mean, rude, and literally attacked me by calling me to yell at me for not using her company. We buy So. Many. Flowers. Every year we buy hundreds throughout the year. Hundreds. Such a shame. I would rather support local. After posting this review this woman just called me back, and in one of the most psychotic sounding voices, the kind that is holding back rage but sounds tinged with giggles, (I guess?!?!) she said "WhAT iS yoUr COmpAniEs naaaame?!?!" I informed her that I would not be giving her that information and she replied "..yyYyoU dONt haaavE A cOMpANy??!" I told her not as far as I was going to tell her, that she was being creepy. So, if you dont buy from her and let people know how she acts, she will threaten you.

Had Falling Water Designs out to provide proposal for cleaning and servicing our water feature…read morewhich has sat dormant for a few years. They diagnosed a failed fill valve which did not shut off resulting in enormous water waste and crazy water bills. I had them clean the pond & water fall as well as replace the valve with a newer design. They also adjusted the water flow to improve the fall and filtration. These guys know and care about what they're doing. Just wish we knew about them years ago!

My property came with two ponds, but at the time ponds and Koi were still very new to me, so I began to learn a lot about both from visiting their retail business (Falling Water Gardens) and purchasing for my needs. All along the way I found them to be extremely kind, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Rick was constantly giving me useful information when I'd drop in to get a new fish or buy miscellaneous supplies. Eventually this led me to a consultation at my home to help identify things I could do to create a better environment for my fish. Rick did the consult and was extremely informative, and he made different recommendations for various equipment options, even recommending against certain steps (which I took as a good faith sign that someone is avoiding every possible upsell and instead focused on what's best for their customer). I later decided to contract with Falling Water Designs for both a cleaning of my two ponds (one about 3500g and the other probably 1500g) as well as installation of a UV Sterilizer and Bead Filter for the larger pond where I keep my Koi. As an added challenge, I needed this equipment installed in a way that would make it easy for me to remove it if I needed to move on from the property I'm in now. This also included some landscaping and planting to help hide the equipment. Well, all I have to say is this was one of the best contracting experiences I've ever had. Ken showed up on time and the hustle started immediately. The ponds were drained, my fish were removed carefully and housed safely during the work, both ponds were cleaned for hours, with some added help replanting some overgrowth in submersible pots as well as positioning them, then the equipment installs and planting to hide. They just plain knocked every single step out of the park. Ken then spent time with me going over the equipment operation step by step and offering his help any time I had questions or needed advice to avoid incorrectly operating the equipment. Everything was inspected for leaks and optimal condition before they left, and they cleaned up all their own supplies and any mess and left my property spotless and without any effort needed on my part. The difference in my ponds is unbelievable. I inherited these ponds and they were absolutely filthy, so this was not easy work at all, and I'd have been fooling myself to think I could ever have done anything like this on my own. I'm incredibly thankful for the difference they've made in my landscape and I can't recommend them highly enough. Looking forward to working with them again in the future on other projects! Many thanks to Ken and Shaggy for knocking it out of the park and everyone at the Garden for always being awesome!
