They do not offer for a different Doctor to see you and give you the results of a important test. They are constantly out of the office so you can't get an appointment. What's the purpose of an appointment if it takes 45 -1hr to see a doctor? In the waiting room, 4 of the 8 patients stated the same complaint. One had already been there over an hour. The other said unfortunately it's the closest to her home and don't expect anything less. Folks-don't waste your time unless you are ok with the wait time and Dr Saba who shows no genuine care. To the front staff-read these reviews. They are indicators of what you all are lacking. Apparent that efficiency and perhaps software to Manage all your patients is outdated. MOREOVER, Smile and just pretend you care. The faster and more efficient you are the quicker your patient can leave and if you do it with a smile, well, they are less likely to write reviews like these. And BTW if you are going to talk about a patient for expressing their frustration make sure you do it where they can't see or hear you laughing. End of day-YOU are in customer services and patient services role. And No, this isn't about I had a bad day. This review will be joining the others already online. Dr. Saba is unremarkable. No greeting just straight to "turn off your phone and lie down". Dr. Saba-you should work in greeting your patients with a smile, nod or handshake before you begin to prod and prick and tell them they need surgery. You should look at how long someone has waited for your service. You should consider acknowledging and apologizing if you had a packed or overbooked day. You should tell your patients what to expect during a painful nerve visit. Patients request mutual respect. The accomplished doctor has a bedside manner that is humane and compassionate, empathetic and supportive. I've been seen twice. A visit with Dr. PATEL, THEN A NERVE CONDUCTION STUDY ON BOTH LEGS. As I encountered medical problems with my leg, and was at hospital in Carrollton, I requested results be sent to my Dr. In Carrollton. The Austell office refused, and informed me that the records belonged to them, not me. That is NOT the truth. It is their policy not to release anything until you have gotten results from their Dr. That is not legal.. Today, I spoke to practice Mgr who was very professional. However, I'm hard pressed to put myself in this situation again, and will not be talked to in a rude manner by Carley, or whatever her name is. I worked in the medical insurance field for years. I know what the law is, and now the trust is broken. Is the Dr. Dictating policy outside the law? Are they insuring that they will get one more visit (and money) from the patient? Dr Bashuk used to really impress me with his kindness, but I felt completely screwed over by the end. The last time I saw him and reported I'd begun to experience auras but he made no change to my seizure medication. Three months later I had a seizure. I called for days and no one ever answered the phone at either location- and I couldn't even leave a voicemail. I gave up and scheduled an appointment with a new doctor whom I love. However, I was unable to get my records even through the third party service referenced on thier website. Cost me a ton to repeat all the imaging he did. Terrible experience, tons of money and stress, and couldn't dive for six months due to a seizure I never should have had if he'd done his job. read more

Every time I come here, the front desk ladies are really stinky acting. They are always running behind, I have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seen every time. (What's the purpose of an appointment)? Theres a black lady with crazy eye shadow, a heavy white lady with crazy fried red hair and a heavy white lady with glasses and a ponytail, no smiles, no name tags, no one introductions. They are just stinky and I'm actively looking for another office. Plus they charge 200$ to fill out 3 pieces of paper for work related disability. It's really disgusting. read more

To make a long story short...here is the letter I faxed and mailed to both locations. Unbelievable! May 29, 2019 To: Northwest Neurology Management, Doctors, Staff; 2525 Windy Hill Rd Suite 202 Marietta, GA 30067 It is with regrets that I am sending this letter. My mother was a patient of Dr. Saba Bejanishvili, MD while in Inpatient Rehab and was also under his care while a patient in the Hospital (2019). He was such a great asset to us, that we immediately requested him. Dr. Saba was great and rendered service of excellence to my mother and was very kind and compassionate. On several occasions I have attempted to make appointments for my mother, for her Follow Up visit at the Windy Hill Rd location. The first time, I had to cancel due to her having another stroke and being hospitalized. The Front Office staff member / was very rude and nasty. I was in disbelief at her tone and unprofessional attitude. I explained to her that my mother was currently in the hospital and I needed to reschedule. I called again to schedule another appointment for my mother. The same person answered and was once again very rude. I apologized that I had to reschedule previously but was hopeful that we would make the next appointment. Unfortunately I had to called back and reschedule again because my mother was once again the hospital. (3 hospitalizations) I reschedule. I called the office to make sure the staff had received my mother's paper work because I faxed it since I wasn't able to accompany her. I spoke with the same rude person again. This time extremely rude! My mom had an appointment for 1:30p.m. and she was running a few minutes behind. I was rudely told that she needed to be there and I understood but did advise that she was in route. This lady was so rude and nasty it was unbelievable. We will not be treated this way. Dr. Saba is great, but the hardship I endured each time I had to schedule/cancel my mom's appointment is unacceptable. Being yelled at, disrespected, and talked to any kind of way is also unacceptable. This employee should not be allowed to represent the Company. I cancelled my mother's appointment today because of the lack of professionalism, empathy, and concern. No one has to endure this type of treatment from anyone at any time ever. My Mother deserves the best healthcare and while Dr. Saba is one of the best, this staff member is a misrepresentation. I am in the Health care industry and I take great pride in the being kind and professional. No one deserves to be mistreated. The front office/scheduler is rude, unprofessional, argumentative and does not deserve to work with the public. FYI- the reviews on Yelp are really disappointing. Perhaps management should review them and act accordingly. The Front Office staff sets the mood for the office and doctor's visits. Dr. Guilliam is my neurologist, and I have no complaints about her; she is friendly, very knowledgeable, and actually takes the time to listen. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes to see the doctor after checking in, so wait times are reasonable. No issues with the staff, and they call in my medication quickly. The operator can be a bit rude at times. When I was having issues with getting a refill, she called me right before the office closed to tell me it was called in. I called the pharmacy, and my medication wasn't available. When I called back, the office was closed, so I had to follow up the next day. Not a deal breaker, but please be aware. I have always considered myself to be a good an accommodating patient when dealing with medical staff (I come from a family of doctors). This is the first negative review that I have written about a practice. I found the entire staff from reception to billing to be curt and Dr. B. bedside manner is lacking (as in 0 bedside manner). The reception area was cold (temperature) and not clean. The staff is unable to give medical records upon request to the paying patient, even though they have them on file at the office. -- you have to fill out paperwork, fax it in, and then a 3rd party data company processes your request. Horrible customer service! I needed paperwork filled out to get paid from my disability claim and paid the $200 fee to the doctor and 20 days later, still no paperwork or pay check. I guess they are too busy to sign a piece of paper for a paying patient. Find another doctors office who cares about their patients. read more

The doctors seem okay, but had a brief run-in with a staff member (nurse?) regarding calling my insurance co. for an override to get me additional critical medicine. The staff member kept arguing with me, saying it couldn't be done. I finally got exasperated with her, telling her I had already called my insurer about this issue and they said all that was required is Dr. Gilliam call in for an override. The staff member continued to argue that this wouldn't work. I finally sternly told her to pass this info. on to Gilliam and let Gilliam decide. About a week later I got a form letter from Northwest Neuro. that they no longer wanted my patronage and I should find a new neuro! In my 60+ years I've never had this happen from any doctor I've done business with. read more
