I randomly stumped upon this company during the holidays online when shopping for a golf set. I researched far and wide and put my faith in these guys. As a rookie golfer i'd still say their prices are so amazing and variety options from colours to brands / heights .. whatever it is you need to make your golfing experience 10x better. I'd say you can find it with these guys. I do admit i returned the original one i bought online because it ended up being too long the golf clubs but i ended up buying golf shoes/ hat and callaway balls in store and soon another golf set in store. Marc and Jerry were phenomenal with helping and answering all the billions of questions i had. My shopping experience was pretty seamless i'd say. It was a bit of a drive but once you're there it truly is worth it. They also price match in store, you're welcome!! I dropped by 3 months later for the "free adjustments" (for 1 year). No service person there. A recent shopping experience at SportChek started at their Lougheed Town Centre store. The result -- 'yes', to the brand and style, but 'no', to my size. So returned home and went online. I had peaked at SportChek's online store earlier, and knew they carried the brand, and style of suit I wanted, but now it was time to get serious, and see if they had my size in stock. Success, they had the brand and style in my size, with a few colour options available, and at a good value price. I ended up ordering three suits. Heh, when you're like me and truly dislike shopping for clothes -- it's so difficult for me to find 'what' I want, 'when' I want it, and 'in' my size -- so catching what you can while the option presents itself, is a personal shopping motto of mine!! Shopping at their online store went quickly and smoothly. And their follow up's to my order, were timely, and informative. There was no charge for delivery, as I had purchased over the minimum required amount. My order shipped via Canada Post (from Calgary) -- SportChek notified me of this Monday, I received the parcel in my mail box here Wednesday. I was very pleased with the results of my online ordering with SportChek. Now 'when' and 'where' to try out the new suits?!!

I went in to purchase a back pack for myself today and the cashier had made a strange comment about my nationality- asking how I felt about Trump trying to take over Greenland. Not only was this comment out of pocket and inappropriate, it could've also ended poorly for the cashier who had asked it, if it had been asked to a different person. I wish she would've just scanned the tag and let me pay for my back pack instead of making me feel awkward about asking me about my political beliefs. This is the second strange interaction I've had with this cashier, hopefully 3rd times the charm.

This particular MEC is very shed like. A big box but not a big box because it's not Walmart? Why kid yourself, it is still dehumanizing how you know you are a chicken in a chicken coop. Walking in narrow robotic aisles. Meh to the crappy interior and ugly exterior. Ok. But what about the goods? Was looking for a few items where the online status shows availability but not on display and no salesperson around to ask or their automatic response is "whatever you see is what we've got". A statement that is more of laziness than true. ...Then why does your online presence say otherwise. So many items are either not priced or mispriced...it is frustrating. Again no salesperson to be found. Only cheerful ones are those going on a break or leaving for work. Then they will answer "whatever you see is what we've got". Terrible experience.

Fast forward to 2023 and again the technician, Dave S. came through big time!
