It's a fairly big home, so not a small project either! Alpine worked to complete the siding near the end of the "gentle season" in the fall and worked in wind and around rainy days to keep the home protected from weather, while efficiently installing our chosen James Hardie product and windows at the same time as they moved from side to side amidst storms. The result was beautiful, with new trim boards added for effect, and everything tidily caulked before winter set in. It looked so wonderful, we even enjoyed the prime siding color before spring came and the paint could put the final touch on the project. Alpine's crews, always kind, upbeat, and efficient, made certain we were early on their spring calendar and completed the rather complex painting job perfectly. Their cleanup crews made sure everything was neat and safe after each work session. We feel very fortunate that Alpine agreed to help us with this project. Their charges were very reasonable and we were able to add details and lower our costs with a full-payment arrangement. We know our home is fully protected from the elements with a product and application that will truly outlast us, and we receive so many compliments on its new appeal! Raaj had some of his workers come out and do everything, the job wasn't 100% completely finished. It was rushed and poorly done. I contacted Raaj to have someone come by and fix the poorly done job and he ignored my phone calls and text messages. I had to call from another number for him to answer. R&R WINDOWS IS A SCAM, he takes your money and blocks your number and you will never hear from him again. I have text messages as proof that I paid him what he asked for and didn't get what was promised for that amount of money. I tried to contact him multiple times but he blocked me and doesn't want to hear from me. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A SCAM AND THE WORK ISNT DONE PROPERLY EITHER.

Aside from some of the sliding doors that have an unacceptable draft on cold days, there was one window that cracked on the inside because of a defect. This crack happened in September of 2018. Despite our dozens of calls and text messages to Raj (the owner of the business), the window has yet to be replaced 8 months later. He has since stopped answering my phone calls and text messages. What use is a warranty if the company fails to stand behind their product? Raj's conduct has been inexcusably unprofessional, and we will be pursuing legal action against R&R Windows for this incident. Avoid this company at all costs.

My experience with Central Windows has been overwhelmingly disappointing. I was promised…read moreegress-compliant windows, but two of the new windows don't even meet egress requirements. One window is almost impossible to open because the winder is out of reach, and they installed the wrong window in my kitchen--one meant for a bedroom. It was clear there was no attention to detail, and the overall workmanship was poor. The financial terms were outrageously unfair. In the first year alone, $1,700 went to interest and only $200 came off the total, while my payments barely made a dent. The windows are not Energy Star rated, and the final price was $2,500 higher than my original quote. Furthermore, Central refused to provide proof of purchase or details on any rebates. After all this, I received a new competing quote for top-quality, triple-pane windows--fully to code and egress standards. Not only is this quote $3,000 cheaper for the same work, but these windows are also eligible for a $950 rebate per window. I paid $15,000 for only half of my house's windows with Central, when I could have had much higher quality, code-compliant windows for a fraction of the price. The outcome of Central's poor installation and misleading terms means I now have a three-bedroom house instead of five, affecting my property value by potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars. To top it all off, they included a balloon payment of nearly $14,000 after five years, on a contract that was inflated after signing--and several windows don't even function correctly. Subsequent home inspection sound of the alarm testing the windows and determining that they were no better than single payment. Terms of view value and replacement recommended only four months after the new windows were installed.?? I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. There are far better, more transparent, and reputable options available that will deliver on quality, compliance, and value. I will enact legal action as the rep D Damon has refused to provide any warranty or remedy.

Centra Windows was chosen to do the window replacement piece in the Deep Energy Retrofit of our…read more1940 New Westminster home. They sent a team and replaced 26 windows, 3 solid doors and a sliding glass door with the most energy-efficient products available. Their technicians were in our home for about two weeks. They were polite, courteous and respectful. They were highly skilled and well equipped. The job was completed. Naturally, there were details that required follow-up, including a complete window cleaning inside and out, which was not possible during the January installation. Centra has been great about sending technicians back again and again to deal with all the deficiencies as we discover them. They have re-made window frames, re-installed doors to make them close more easily and generally made sure that the look, operation and feel of the installation is elegant in every detail. Today we agreed upon a way to properly frame a basement door, which lacks drywall around it. This will mean an additional visit to our home. Centra is consistently working to our satisfaction. I have learned that Centra employees are part owners of their company. So the quality of their work builds the reputation of a firm that they own. Accordingly, they are not about to leave their customer unstatisfied. In summary, I have become very impressed with Centra Windows and can recommend them without reservation.

My front gate door wouldn't close properly. The handle was too tight to open easily and wouldn't latch smoothly. My back gate door handle and lock were loose and needed replacing. And my bedroom and bathroom doors were squeaking. Sal was able to figure out what was wrong and fixed all of them within a couple of hours. I'm so thankful.
