This store is amazing! Had I known it had such great stock, I could have skipped 2/3 of my trips to Target in the last year. They have party supplies, school supplies, teachers' educational posters and materials, tons and tons of educational toys and crafts (I saw a "build your own projector kit" that looked interesting), and even a second floor with more toys, musical instruments, and a whole wall of pre-k through gradeschool workbooks. You don't have to be an educator to shop there, but if you are one, you get 10% off, and they host an event in August with more discounts and giveaways. It's like a mix of Party City, Target, the Scrap Exchange, and a toy store. If you have a kid or work with kids, this is the place to be - literally can't wait to take mine there for a visit and buy too many stickers. read more

A little slice of old school heaven, even more delightful during covid. My daughter walks in here and always finds things she loves- whether it's wooden fruit, pencil sharpeners, or balloons that are so large I'm not sure they'll fit in our car. And if you ever want to transform your living room into a preK (which during covid times is eerily close to home), you could probably get everything you need here. Added bonuses: The folks who work here are lovely and the prices are right. read more

I recently needed to buy a case of 24 ounce clear drink cups. The place I usually purchase them at Restaurant Depot hasn't had them in stock. I called Not Just Paper and they said they had a case. When I checked out I was charged $160 when I usually pay $65 at other establishments. It seems like they are price gouging because there are supply chain issues. I will not purchase anything from them in the future.o read more

Surprisingly, Not Just Paper is actually about 95% paper. The "not just" part attributed to some pens, school, and art supplies. It's not a bad stop for basic office needs -- and like the ol' If It's Paper place I was so fond of in Greensboro, you can also pick up party stuff (think: napkins to match your plates to match your banner). But no doubt the coolest thing about NJP is the backroom warehouse they have stocked high with specialty paper and cardstock -- and staffed with folks who will cut-to-size and even score your order. When I tackled the foolishly ambitious task of making my own wedding invitation pocketfolds (my fingers are cramping at just the memory), I hopped over here hoping to buy the materials in person. Unfortunately, though they do have a pretty strong selection, they didn't have merlot to match my pieces. I wound up having to order online, but I would absolutely recommend a visit here for less-fussy folks with paper-oriented DIY projects! read more

This is a great little shop that's been around a long time. I've bought helium balloons for my son's birthday parties, and paper plates and cups here a few times recently. The prices are affordable and there's a nice selection of different colors. It's nice to shop at a locally owned place. read more

On a day when I needed to send some important papers through the mail and didn't want to look unprofessional and fold them up to fit into a greeting card envelope, I remembered that Not Just Paper was right around the corner. The store wasn't quite what I expected. I thought it was going to be more like your ordinary office supply store, but with a larger "break room" section (with paper plates and plasticware), but it's really more like a one-stop shop for elementary school teachers and DIY party planners, with office supplies mixed in. There was something about this place that brought out a can-do attitude in me. For example, while I was wandering the aisles, I found some index cards and felt motivated to organize my recipe box (which I did when I got home). I also really want to throw a party now. While I did a lot of browsing, I was actually looking for a few specific items, and had a little trouble. There is a ton of signage in this place that I think is supposed to be helpful, but I actually found it overwhelming. Fortunately, the sales associates are available to help. read more

We use these guys for office supplies where I work and they always go above and beyond to get us what we need. I often describe the most obscure little items that we need and they always figure out what they are and get them for us. When I mess up and forget my weekly order they come through over and over again to make sure the products we need are available for us to pick up or have delivered. They are true life savers. read more

I went into this store a few months ago and had a really awful experience. Honestly wasn't sure what to do about and I don't usually do reviews but I figure posting here is at least something. The store its self was pleasant and well stocked, but the white women working at the front were being blatantly racist. I was shocked enough as a white woman, so I can not imagine the way their non-white customers must feel. After hearing the things I heard, there is no doubt in my mind that they show less respect to People of Color when they come in. No name tag that I could see but a brunette with a strong southern accent said something like: "The foreigners that come in smell so bad that I have to keep air freshener up front, sorry not sorry". On top of that, I recently told the story to some friends and unsurprisingly they've had similar experiences after shopping at this store for years. Some friends have stopped shopping here all-together after being profiled and followed around, and in general made to feel very uncomfortable. Absolute shame because I love supporting local businesses and this store has so much potential. read more
