We were trying to find a gift shop to help commemorate our trip to Raleigh. It turned out to be a…read moredifficult feat. I found this one last second with about a half an hour before closing 11 minutes away from us. So we sped off get there in time. When we got there and walked through the little pink door, it was the cutest little shop. So my friend is visiting from Scotland and we wanted to get some kind of necklace or piece of jewelry that matched. They have a great selection. We opted for some lava rock bracelets that help with communication, truth, and strength. I grabbed a little shot glass that said North Carolina on it because I have to have a trinket from every trip I make. When we were checking out, she said that somebody wanted to donate a basket to somebody that they had bought and wasn't gonna pick up so we ended up getting a free basket from Krystal! That was the sweetest thing. We were like two little school girls opening it up and dividing all of the little snacks inside. So thank you for making the end of our trip wonderful!!

We've used a popular online company for years, but this year, they messed up our order and we had to scramble to find a plan B! After doing some research we found Gingham & Posh. We loved how we could design the gift boxes with the colors of our company logo. The staff was great to work with and finished our boxes in a great time frame, even with the Christmas rush! We ended up going with the NC boxes. We've received many compliments from our customers of how much they loved their gifts. We loved how we were supporting a local business with Gingham & Posh, as well as supporting the businesses represented within the boxes. We're so glad our Plan A didn't work out this year. From now on, Gingham & Posh will be our go to for gift baskets!

The place is not too large, but the selection is up to par. I went for a $10 office chair. All the chairs are $10, which is fortunate and unfortunate since some are in a lot better shape than others. I got a cute blue swivel chair, which was very clean. I am planning to cover it with a cloth slip, just for sanitary reasons. I cleaned the wheels when I got home, and yea, it works, nice and cheap! I definitely recommend. Also, if you are looking for a desk, I would get a bigger car, the desks are ginormous and look pretty heavy.

I bought about 10 pounds of nice file folders for $2. You will need a big vehicle and a friend to haul away any of the furniture (sturdy industrial stuff). There is a map on their website - print it out and follow it carefully to find this place buried deep within several gravel parking lots.
