If you need a notary quickly outside of normal business hours that is reliable use an online service and save some money. The advertisement of 24/7 is misleading and unreliable. Lack of communication and confirmation forced me to find another service. Any received communication was unprofessional and rude. When I needed a last minute notary at 6am the next day I called this company because they advertised a 24hr service. The woman who answered the phone at 11:30 PM was clearly annoyed. She stated she would check if they could make it and someone would call me to confirm. No one called. I called at 4AM with no answer, left a message and had to make alternative arrangements. At 5AM I messaged the company stating I no longer needed their services. 10 minutes before 6AM I finally heard from the same angry lady about how I was being inconvenient to the 24 hour service her company provided and I would have to pay a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is understandable and I paid it for the notary that was dispatched. The lack of communication made the service unreliable and unprofessional. read more

My wife was a traveling notary for 26 years, so I'm well aware of a fair deal. This is NOT what we received. We called the Peoria Ave location because they were under 20 mins away from us. Someone responded 31 mins after our 5:07pm call. After a couple confirming texts, we then waited well beyond the "within the hour" promise for his "dispatch" notary to finally arrive. He drove in from NE Phoenix! and arrived at 7:45pm, holding us up more than two+ hours from leaving on a long-distance company trip. The charge was $45 (CASH only) for my 1 page and their 1 seal stamp. This high price, therefore, reflects his need to compensate not only his pocket, but his dispatch's pocket as well. Found on google. Needed a last minute notary done due to things going on at work. I called the number and a lady answered. She scheduled me for the next day. However, I got a call from a man saying that my time was double booked and I needed to pick another time. Luckily he was available to come to my job a couple hours earlier on the same day which worked out fine. Later on I get a call from him saying that he will be late due to construction in his neighborhood. He said about 15 minutes later than the scheduled time. I was then told that I will have to pay more due to being in the east valley. He arrived about a hour late and was very short and blunt. Not very friendly. I got the vibe that he just wanted to get in and out. However I got the services I needed. If time is important,do not use this business. But if you are on the west side and have no restraints on time then they may be worth a try. read more

Notary on Wheels, what a fantastic niche to fill. My husband is at a Hospice facility and needed some forms to be notarized. Even though our bank was right across the street, my husband was unable to leave the facility. I was handed a "Notary on Wheels" card by the social worker at the Hospice. Would give negative stars if I could. I called to inquire about rates for notary services. The man who answered the phone provided some rate info and then said because the service needed to be rendered in the East Valley, there would be an extra charge and that he needed the address to give me more accurate pricing. I said I needed to look it up on my computer and he said he just needed the cross streets, which I told him I didn't have. He sounded impatient. Because of this, I asked if he was the owner of the business. He essentially asked why, sounding reluctant, and I said I wanted to know with whom I was doing business. He said "Fred." At that point, I found the street address for the business at which the services would need to be rendered. In the midst of giving that information to him, he hung up on me. I called back and asked whether that's how he treats prospective customers, by hanging up on them, and he said he was busy and didn't hang up on me, which was an outright lie, and said, sarcastically, "I didn't know you were going to do research on your computer." What? It took 3 seconds to find the address but he couldn't be bothered to wait that long and hung up on me mid-sentence. He then said "you're looking for trouble" and "you're not on the up and up" and then proceeded to hang up on me again. What was that all about? I'm looking for trouble and I'm not on the up and up because I had the temerity to ask your name and take 3 seconds to look up an address? No, Fred, I didn't have the cross streets because it's a hospice that I visited for the first time this past weekend, flying in from out of state to see my dying father. I grew up in the Valley and know it well but had just never happened to visit this hospice facility before and was trying to be helpful by giving you an exact address. It sounds like you're projecting, Fred, and that you're looking for trouble and that you are not on the up and up. I understand busy. I've worked on multiple complex projects with competing deadlines my entire career. One with a truly customer-centered mindset doesn't tell customers or clients they're busy, but simply handles the matter immediately or, in a professional manner, informs the customer or client that they will get them what they need as soon as they are able. If one is too busy to handle the demands of one's business, one needs to hire help. I'm an attorney and professional writer and have done business with many vendors and service providers, both personally and professionally. This was by far the most unpleasant, unprofessional and downright bizarre interaction I've had with anyone, owner or otherwise, in business. Stay far away from Notary on Wheels in the Valley of the Sun unless you are obsequious, don't mind being treated rudely, and have all the time in the world. read more
