They are a bogus company, they owe me $600 for a translation. They never answered the phone or emails and I never received my translation.

This company is a fraud! Do not use them!! I paid them $664 to help me with documents needed for a visa and they have now stopped taking my phone calls and are not answering my emails. I have emailed the Better Business Bureau to report them, I did research into their company when I hadn't heard from them 6wks in- to discover that this is a trend with them. After an initially encouraging email exchange, in which Dennis responded immediately and thoroughly, I hired NotaryEx to obtain an apostille for my marriage certificate which I needed to be shipped to be overseas for my visa application. I had the certificate shipped directly to his agent in Oregon, got an email that it had arrived, and then dead silence for 2 weeks. I called the supposedly 24/7 phone number probably a dozen times, emailed, and finally got a terse and vague response from someone else, saying Dennis was away, I would receive the tracking information soon as well as a scanned copy of the apostille and certificate. After another week, I finally did receive the certificate, and according to the tracking, it wasn't even shipped until the day after that other person responded. Meanwhile I missed my visa application deadline which will cost me hundreds more to deal with as well as serious issues with my ability to stay in my current home. The lack of communication is completely unacceptable, and for nearly $220 I expected a lot better. No apologies afterwards let alone a partial refund. Do yourself a favor - go elsewhere. read more

I contacted NotaryeX on September 12, 2015 to conduct Apostille services (a form of authenticating American documents for use abroad). As a U.S. citizen living abroad, I needed someone to act as my personal representative to appear before the local Department of State in Washington, DC to make the necessary transactions. A representative from NotaryeX named Dennis Jones contacted me by email, expressing a willingness to conduct the Apostille services for a total fee of US$219.00. I sent the documents to the agreed upon address and paid the invoice via PayPal. Dennis Jones later confirmed receipt of the documents and payment. On October 7, 2015, I received my final correspondence from Dennis Jones or any other representative of NotaryeX, which I quote in entirety: "Document completed and I will update you on FEDEX shipping info." Since then, I have received no further word, despite multiple emails and phone messages to Dennis Jones and the company. Subsequent research on-line revealed at least three other clients who have been defrauded by NotaryeX and Dennis Jones in the past few months, leading me to believe the company is engaging in a pattern of defrauding ex-patriate Americans. One such complaint is by Amanda L. here on yelp.com. Unfortunately, she had not posted her review until after I engaged the services of NotaryeX. These date from August and September of this year and are substantially similar to my experience. I contacted notaryex about apostille services for an overseas contract. I sent them sensitive documents that could lead to identity theft, which were needed for my current contract. I have had to chase them for any information on my documents, calling 5 times, sending 10 emails, etc. No word. I think they may be involved in identity theft from expats. The information they have given me has been false, and unspecific. The only time I get an actual answer is if I threaten law enforcement. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Don't make my mistake. read more
