When it actually happens the victim gets blamed and the bullies get a slap on the wrist! The junior high teachers don't seem to know what's going on in their classrooms and don't seem to be able to control the the disruptive children, making it a very poor learning environment for someone who actually wants to learn. And God forbid you have a child who's interested in computers or anything outside of sports, no extra curricular clubs except sports and chess club. They don't even have a computer class! Technology is wood shop or Home Ec. Our children's future is all about computers and electronics, it's unthinkable that a school in this day and age doesn't offer a computer class! Pulled our child out of 6th grade there in February and sent him to a real school!! Global Concepts was a complete waste of 5 1/2 months!

This school is has gone down hill ever since the new principal was onboarded. The amounts of fights…read morethat go on at this elementary school is concerning. Not being able to have an available bus to pick up our child at least 6x's this year bringing them home past 5:30, when school is out at 2:20 is wild. When there is an issue or concern and brought directly to the principals attention and he either does NOT respond as their has been serious concerns about the violence and not feeling this is a safe place for our child. As an adult who went to this school personally as a child, this is heartbreaking. The standards have fallen. With being said with what we have experienced in the past 7 years at this school, my husband and I have decided to remove our son from Discovery Buffalo Public School #67. Kids deserve to go to school and learn and be protected!!! #67 needs to work on that. Respectfully, A parent who cares about the well-being of their child!
