When we were walking back we randomly walked by De Rode Koe and figured "why wait?" So we headed in and grabbed a table. This place was small, but very comfortable and the gentleman working was super friendly and pleasant. This restaurant features a good selection of vegan and vegetarian options while also having a few meat options as well to cater to pretty much everyone. I was struggling to decide on what to get when I blurted out "lasagna" and made the choice I didn't know I needed. The food came out pretty quickly here and let me tell you, it should have had a warning on it. The lasagna was roughly 200 degrees Celsius and smelled so good I couldn't help but take teeny tiny little bites for the first 20 minutes. Once the dish actually cooled down and I got to eat it, this thing was next level tasty and I couldn't help but devour the whole thing. Overall, De Rode Koe was a random home run that I'm so glad I got to experience.
