The 3 remaining, I plan on framing for my home. Mum will be so proud. Funny that no one here reviews this place for it actually being a pharmacy. This is a small, but excellent pharmacy. Considering that it's such a small pharmacy in an otherwise not very lively street (there area few small shops and Pennine Drive Surgery doctor's office nearby, but that's it), I think the opening hours are quite good - during the week, they stay open until 7pm, and on Saturdays, they are open until 1pm. If you are a patient of the Pennine Drive Surgery, when you ask for prescriptions, you can just tick a box asking for the prescription to be delivered straight to this pharmacy, and pick your medication straight there. As the surgery is not open on Saturdays, but the pharmacy is, this has saved me many times when I needed a prescription urgently.

If you need a Doctor quickly...this is the place to go...presicriptions filled on site and each visit is around £40 which is much cheaper than most of the other walk in private GP's in London

It's been since childhood since I have scraped the knee that bad. Unlike the USA, here you can get the kind and size of the bandage you want. They are called different things here, but I got what I needed without having to buy the whole box. Personalized attention exactly what I needed all for less than 2.50 pounds. It was what pharmacies used to be like in the USA until the big corps took over most of the smaller ones.

Boots at London Canary Wharf Jubilee Place is a fairly useful location - the store isn't a great…read moresize so the product selection from what one would usually expect to find in a Boots from cosmetics to beverages is a little smaller, but for me, it does offer a useful range of services in its' location in a very business, rush and go area of London - It has a pharmacy with multi-lingual staff where you can have some NHS services like flu vaccinations and prescriptions, or perhaps these services on a non-NHS basis too if you no longer qualify for example. The staff around the store seemed pretty generic, not too helpful or friendly but seemed to get the job done which at the end of the day is okay for a store like this. The pharmacy is open until midnight is also really useful if you're in the area to pick-up medication - this means the pharmacy section is open when the rest of the store isn't as it is over two floors. Perhaps not as modern as other Boots stores, and it might not have the best of selections in the main floors, but it serves a highly useful purpose as it does offer a good range of services, in a good location with really good opening hours. 3*

Although my visit was brief I was struck by the kindly demeanour of the gent who gave me my medicine - a real contrast to many of the doctors, nurses and other medical staff I've encountered since I became ill. When you're coping with poor health, little things like bedside manner make all the difference. But this is all too easily forgotten. So hats off to Kalmak Chemist for their gentle treatment this afternoon.
