I called and even drove back to the gas station as soon as I realized my wallet was missing and asked them if anybody seen or returned a wallet? They told me no, and when I asked if the gas station had a camera they told me no. But I'm sure every gas station you go to is equipped with cameras. So I decided to get in touch with someone from their store and I had asked them if they have any cameras at this pacific location and they told me yes. So I told them that I had called and one of their employee told me they didn't have any. Really suspicious. Then they also told me that someone will check into the surveillance camera on the day I was there pumping gas and would get back to me in a 48-72 hours. I said okay. A week goes by nobody has gotten in touch with me. So I decided to reach out again and they told me the same thing that they'll escalate it to management and someone will get in touch with me within 3-5 business days. I said okay. Another week goes by no one still hasn't reach out to me and now I'm getting very upset. So I called and reach out to someone again and ask them what's taking so long for someone to contact me because now its been almost a month since someone gotten in touch with me. So I asked if I should go there in person and as soon as I said that they got back to me right away. So they were reviewing the camera and once they got to the date I was there. They claim there were no footage of me from the time I was there but there was a clip from an hour after I was there. Very fishy!! And also said they only have motion sensor and that the camera didn't show the last pump I was at. So after all this. I don't think I'll ever bring my business here or to any bjs wholesale store after this experience. I don't want make a huge deal even though I was sad because my whole life was pretty much in that wallet.

Heard a store employee (man) refer to a black woman at one of the pump's as a "fucking bitch" this…read moremorning over the error the employee himself had made. Once inside the store, he told another customer that the woman at the pump "screwed me out of 10 bucks." He went into painting his narrative to the woman in front of me at the counter, telling her how the error happened. He had prepaid $10 on the wrong pump, unknown to the lady at the pump. I pointed out that HE screwed himself out of $10. The employee set a presale of $10 at the wrong pump. The lady he used the foul language towards had put her card in the pump, unaware of the employee's error, so when the pump stopped at $10 the customer at the pump became confused as she intended to put more than $10 in her tank and thought her card had authorized her sale on the pump. The employee was outside explaining his mistake to the lady at the pump when I first pulled up to put gas in my own vehicle but his tone was immediately obviously aggressive upon stepping out of my vehicle, so the lady waved him off and told him to go away. When said employee said what he said, I responded by telling him he shouldn't speak to his customers like that. His tone was condescending with me in his response of, "Yeah maybe I shouldn't." When I asked him if he'd want a man speaking to his wife or daughter like that, he responded with, "Yeah, if it's earned!" I told him I'd be speaking to his manager. His response to that was,"Good, I don't care. He's right down the street at the other store (452 Amherst St Nashua, NH)." The lady from the pump came in after I had asked my husband to assist her with the pump. My husband had explained what had happened and why she only got $10 when she first pumped. The lady came into the store to pay for the $10 that she didn't know was on the pump when she pulled up. The employee told her it was fine and that he will eat it. She wanted to make it right but the employee insisted she didn't need to pay for it. I told the employee that he owed the lady an apology for calling her a "fucking bitch" and for telling another customer the lady screwed him out of the $10. I remained present until he apologized to the lady. After I made my purchase I drove down to the other store. I told his manager what transpired and he said he would investigate. I asked for his district manager's name so I could contact them, not because the manager did anything wrong, but because I wanted to make sure that upper management was informed and understood how egregious the matter was, and the District Manager happened to be in the store in that moment so the manager pointed him out to me. I introduced myself to the District Manager and told him about the situation. The DM's name is Dean Palmer. His demeanor was that of someone not overly concerned and said he'd have to do an investigation. When I said that I'll also be calling the corporate office he told me it didn't matter because it would get routed back to him to investigate. He asked for the employee's name but the employee was not wearing a name tag so I could not provide one. I gave a description of a bulky guy, maybe 6', maybe less, in his later 40's, with dark curly greying hair. I hope that an investigation is done. The employee was too comfortable speaking to a woman the way he did. He felt too comfortable to speak to me the way he did but I can handle my own, but the lady he spoke so crassly of is a soft spoken woman of color with a slight accent. His aggressive tone was certainly overpowering her at the pump. His aggressive demeanor and his blatant lack of caring if I contacted upper management about I witnesses, tells me he doesn't respect the patrons of the store or his job. I hope if I go in there again that he will no longer be employed by Cumberland Farms. He has no place working in customer facing positions, especially where women frequent. If he can't own his mistakes or his aggressive emotions in check, then he has no place behind a Cumberland Farm's counter serving this multi diverse community of people.

I walk in to SHELL, AT HARRIS RD IN NASHUA, the one nearly next to Exit 4 overpass, and the kid behind the counter says, "hi." I say, "Hey, how are you, Can I get a $10 scratch ticket please?" Devin: "UHHHH, I'M GOING TO BE CLOSING SOON TO COUNT MONEY, SO, NO. I CAN'T DO IT." Me: "But you're clearly not closed yet, so you have not counted anything yet, and the store is still open for sales, there's people behind me, and I see you haven't started counting anything just that, so I can purchase a ticket... Right?" Devin: "No." Me: "Why? It's just ONE TICKET." Devin: "No, I said." Me: "Seriously? But why? The lottery is to be sold 24/7. It's one ticket, man." Devin: "Like I said to you the first two times, NO! YOU CAN'T." And he bangs his fingers on the counter. Me: "Wow. Ok, I'm confused as to why you have to be so nasty. I just want one ticket, then I'll be out of your hair. No need to be rude as heck to me. You have no manners, I cannot believe you have a job being this nasty to people." "So.....no on the ticket, still? You're going to push away ticket sales for no good reason except you'll be counting register money soon?" Devin: "YUP. WHAT PART DON'T YOU GET? THE ANSWER IS NO. GET OVER IT. YOU KNOW WHAT? IF YOU DON'T LEAVE I'M CALLING THE COPS." Me: "WOW? YOU'LL CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE I'M ASKING WHY I CANNOT JUST BUY ONE TICKET? I have a right to know why. You said you need to close SOON? You're not actually closed yet, but Ok. Let's do that. Let's call the police and your manager. Now I'm annoyed. We can REPLAY the cameras here and show them that I simply asked you to buy a ticket, I still haven't gotten nasty like you, and then when the cops leave, you can give me your Manager's name, too." He proudly holds up his name tag, smirks, & says "Collette, Is my manager. My name is Devin. NOW BYE. YOU'RE NOT GETTING A TICKET. ANYTHING ELSE, you can buy, Fine." He looks past me and takes another customer that needs gas to avoid me. The poor guy just needs gas for his boat. So I stay quiet, and move to the side. After the guy walks away, I say..... Me: "Hold on, I can buy anything in the else in the store, except lottery, that makes no sense, now you're doing this to bust my balls. Matter of fact, let me go get my phone so we can show your manager how you treat PAYING customers." He says, "You're not getting a ticket. Whatever." So I exit the store. I come back in, I make sure he hasn't put a sign on the door. But he's not counting any items or money, instead, he's now telling another customer the story about me. So I walk back in and ask him to put on the same tough guy act he just did for the last ten minutes....... this time for the camera. I tell him to go ahead and continue treating me like crap all because I asked to buy a ticket. I have that video for proof. DUDE FROZE. I went home. After 45 minutes, I figured he was done "counting." I head back to the same SHELL on HARRIS RD. I pull up, he's outside smoking, playing on his phone. I pull up next to him. I roll down my window. I proceed to ask him if I can NOW buy a ticket. He actually thinks about it and says "no because you were rude to me." I said "it doesn't matter that you were rude 5X during my 1st visit because I asked how counting the register money means I can't buy a ticket from the lottery?" I say, "So it doesn't matter that you were acting so tough and really nasty BEFORE I went and got my phone?" He said"Nope. I'm shutting you off from services." And laughs because now I'm literally begging to buy a lottery ticket! He snaps a pic of my license plate and ignores me and goes back inside. I leave. I also have this long scenario on video too. Shame on Shell for hiring IGNORANT, Manner-less, JERKS like this. I want THE CURRENT MANAGER Collette, TO ACTUALLY PLAY THE STORE VIDEO OF THIS NIGHT (June 9, 2018 at 4:21 am), watch it and listen carefully, because I was in no way rude or nasty to Devin like Devin was to me, and then you tell me why he can talk to me like that???? Why couldn't he just sell me the ticket and THEN CLOSE THE STORE AND DO HIS THING?? Instead of wasting ten minutes arguing with a customer? That's ok, to be talked down to by your employee? And to push lottery sales away? I will be calling the BBB along with the lottery commission and let them see my awesome videos! If something is not done about this kind of behavior, then double shame on you! Then I'll call corporate as well. I work hard for my money and I should not be talked to that way after simply trying to buy a lottery ticket! I'm a paying customer and I will no longer go in ANY SHELL EVER AGAIN. AND I'LL BE SHOWING EVERYONE I KNOW MY VIDEOS OF HIM BEING RUDE AND NASTY AND LAUGHING ABOUT HIS BEHAVIOR! Nice employees, SHELL GAS. STATIONS!!
