This is a great place to meet up with friends. The atmosphere is fun, and the interiors are beautiful. The patio is very charming--especially in the evening, when all the lights come on. I didn't hesitate too long and, of course, agreed to visit Nova Resto Bar. The place had always looked very popular, but I wasn't sure what the clientele was like. I am writing this after just a single visit, so please check this place out in person--your impression might be completely different from mine. We ordered two cocktails and a Cheese Pizza to share. The pear, caramelized walnuts, honey, gorgonzola, white sauce and mozzarella is always a delightful combination. I don't order mixed drinks often, but the moment and the place felt right, so why not. The prices on the menu were rather high for the Polish reality. Later, I thought our food was definitely overpriced for what we got. Not only did our order arrive nearly an hour after we placed it, but it looked more like flatbread pizza rather than a regular pie. It was okay food for a late snack, but the pear was cut paper thin, some nuts were burnt and the whole thing was too sweet because there was too much honey. Its size was also much smaller than the pizzas we usually get from other places. Drinks? I'm not sure. We tasted our cocktails trying to figure out whether there was any alcohol in it. I tried Pornstar Martini for the first time. Our server told me to pour the shot of Prosecco, served alongside, into the glass, so everything is mixed together. I later learned that this was completely wrong, or at least, it wasn't correct according to the traditional way of drinking this particular cocktail. She also never checked on us whether we needed anything. Perhaps she completely forgot about us and our pizza. That's why we waited so long. In our case, it wasn't a big deal, but for the first time ever, it wasn't my camera that "ate" first. My final thoughts? You'd better have a thick wallet if you plan on bringing a date here. In the end, all you can do is hope that the food and drinks turn out to be just as wonderful as you expected. We had a great time catching up with my friend, no regrets. Check their menu, breakfasts could be worth trying. Like I already mentioned, the restaurant is very pretty with comfortable seats and a relaxing vibe. read more

We stopped here on a busy Sunday because we liked the outdoor seating on the patio. We did get a really nice, comfy table that was nice for relaxing outside. Our food, however, was just ok, a little bland and overpriced. Our service was fine and the place itself had nice ambiance. This is a great spots for groups with a diverse menu and something for everyone. I went with a party of eight. We had drinks, pasta, chicken, burgers etc. There is a large patio area as well as inside seating. I really enjoyed the pasta with steak, mushrooms and asparagus. This place is definitely not for romantic dates. It's a big restaurant with big terrace. There were a lot of people on a Thursday after 8 pm. There was loud pop music so that it was very noisy. The service was bad, they did many mistakes. For example the waitress brought the main course to our little table when we still had the starters, they should take the starter dishes away first! I was going to wipe my soup plate with bread but the waitress just took the plate away without asking if I had finished. Nobody even said thanks and bye to us when we left even though waitresses walked right pass us. The starters, thai soup with shrimps and tomato soup with noodles were delicious but the main courses were a disappointment. Entrecote was almost uneatable and there were at least 7 different kind of raw vegetables. The risotto with mushrooms, asparagus and beef was tasteless and the portion was far too big. I don't recommend this restaurant, bad food, noisy place and bad service. read more

Nova Resto Bar is a huge restaurant/bar, located in the heart of Kazimierz district, just next to Plac Nowy. The place is good for both: drinking and eating. Aside from a big part inside of the place there is also a nice seating area on a very long balcony. I like the interior design of the place and the fact that it's very spacious - something for poeple who don't like dark, claustrophobic venues that are very popular in this part of the city. The food is okay. Personally I recommend their salads. You will get o lot of healthy things on your plate and for sure enough to eat well and kill the hunger. The bad side about the place is it's price range - much higher than in most part of restaurants/bars in Kazimierz area. read more

The interior is decorated beautifully and the outdoor patio is enormous. The food is a bit on the pricey side but it's worth the money. They have a seemingly endless menu. Each time I've been here I tried ordering something different and it's all been quite tasty. My sister raves about how good the kotlet is here. That being said this wouldn't be the first place I'd go for traditional polish food. But their pastas are a solid choice. read more

Nova is a classic spot for lazy summer lunches which turn into dinners and cocktail nights that make you go back for breakfast the next morning. A viciously good circle if you like.... The menu is vibrant and the temporary seasonal menus even better in my opinion (when available of course). Cool semi retro interiors and a warm atmosphere. Heaters and lamps on the closed terrace during winter too. Worth a visit (or 7!) a week for sure! read more

It had been some years since I last ate at Nova. As far as I remembered, the food here was rather mediocre. They have apparently upgraded their kitchen since. The other day I ordered the grzanki z kazim serem (toasts with goat cheese) to go with a beer. The dish was far fancier than I expected. The photo doesn't quite do it justice. It looked super nice and tasted fantastic. I really liked how each piece of toast has a different favor. The 16 zł price tag was well worth it. It definitely gave me more confidence about the pricier items. Will need to come back here again. read more

We walked in there without knowing what they serve or whether it is good as we often do when we visit a new place :) The decor was pleasant, it wasn;t too busy but there were people sitting inside. The menu looked interesting, I have ordered tagliatelli with sirloin steak and wild mushrooms. I was worried a bit that it is going to be a bit heavy meal but it was just perfect! The pasta was cooked just right, so was the steak and the mushrooms really were the wild mushrooms not the ones from supermarket! We also had some fried chicken as a starter and it was nicely spiced.
