A man came in for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and they charged $100. What I was charged for a normal 60 minute massage. Totally ridiculous to charge a pregnant woman an extra $30, nearly a 50% upcharge. It is not like they have a special table or special process for pregnant people. I had to lay on my side for the massage. I only brought $100 in cash because I thought the total would be $70. So when they said $100, I tipped on my card after paying the rest in cash. They asked how much I wanted to tip and I said $15. So they typed in $16 on the machine and said "$1 for using card". Kind of ridiculous to do when it's a tip. Especially after being overcharged by $30. For a discounted place ($70 for 60 minutes), it's worth it. But when they charge the same as the nicest spas in the area for pregnant people, totally not worth it. Go somewhere nicer. I left feeling scammed and taken advantage of.

Walking in everything went fine until she let me to the first room on the right and waited for me to get changed. What I noticed was the room didn't look like it had been kept up considering there's a giant hole in the wall that leads to the front room and they use a big painting to cover the hole. Which made me feel very unsafe. But the cherry on top was the actual massage seemed to be focused on my lower regions and exposing them. During the massage, I kept overthinking why she kept going back to my lower regions why this felt like more of an expose rather than a massage. So I didn't feel comfortable saying anything which is my fault. Maybe she's never done a massage before and she didn't know what to do or maybe she's used to massaging older clients that need to focus on their lower regions. Either way I would love to see the hole in the wall covered up to ease my mind on what could've been the case.
