In fact, in my case Tanya's task was complicated for her as I had kept two back bottom teeth and I have numerous small bony projections (called torus mandibularisi) around my mouth and I don't know how but she worked around every one! I have never been treated by someone in a professional setting as I was treated by Cliff Kafka. The…read moredentures he made for me looked good and fit well until the last adjustment. When he did the final hard reline there was a sharp section on the inside of the upper dentures' gum line by the last molar. He smoothed down the whole back molar so much that the back top and bottom molars do not even meet and there is a large gap between them and the top back molar is now barely there. When I pointed this out to him and told him I was not happy with this and wanted him to fix it, he shouted at me that he filed it down because I told him I was biting the inside of my cheek. I never once bit my cheek with these dentures and when I told him that I never said that I did, he got extremely angry and shouted at me that he has made dentures for years and he knows best. He was rude and very aggressively yelling at me to get out of his office while pounding the front desk with his fist. When I asked him to please stop as he was frightening me, I was told to go to someone else and have them fix it by both Cliff and Emily. I'm 57 years old and have never been frightened and reduced to tears by someone in a professional setting as I was by this so called professional. Absolutely appalling and shocking behavior by a professional. It really is sad and unfortunate that Cliff at Kafka Denture Clinic doesn't stand behind his work.

Dr. Mike has been a kind and caring doctor and has always listened to me. I also had a very good relationship with the dental hygienists Amy and Michelle. They were both very professional, caring and easy to communicate and deal with. When Amy was there I was going 3 times a year for cleaning and scaling. Amy mentioned that I take very good care of my teeth (I know I do) and that if I wanted I could cut my appointments down to twice a year. I've done this for a number of years now. On a visit in October I was told that Michelle was no longer there and that there was a new hygienist taking her place. On this visit she asked questions like what kind of toothbrush do I use? Do you floss your teeth? Do you drink tea or coffee? I thought this is a different line of questioning but I put it down to my being overly sensitive and a new hygienist getting used to a new patient. In April I was in again for another cleaning. The new hygienist asked me the same questions that she did on the last visit. I was getting rather annoyed at this point. After she finished the cleaning she informed me that she would be taking some pictures. When I asked why she had to take pictures, as she had not told me why, she informed me that my insurer wanted the pictures taken. I asked why? She told me that she had told my insurer she required more time to clean my teeth and that they had requested the pictures. After she took the pictures she told me that I should start scheduling my appointments for every 3 months. I informed her that this was not going to happen and felt it was completely unnecessary. Should she not have discussed this with me before going to the insurer to request a quote for the additional service? I am a senior and I may not be as tolerant as I used to be. However, I just feel that this situation was not handled particularly well and left me feeling somewhat like a recalcitrant child who is incapable of understanding what my needs are. Life is too short for this sort of nonsense. I did not like feeling stressed as I did when I left after my last appointment. The dentist has been great but I'm uncomfortable dealing with his hygienist.
