Dr. Bittner has been the specialist that , over the last five years, has managed to save a number of my teeth that were ruined by 20 years of hack dentists who I should never have allowed to try to root canal my teeth. My regular dentist, who I love, and who does all my regular dental stuff, doesn't even try to do my Endodontics... I just go to Bittner. The office team here is fantastic, such nice people, and very efficient and caring. The technology they have is unbelievable, and Dr. Bittner himself is so great. His expertise is second to none, and his bedside manner is reassuring friendly and helps so much if you are at all nervous of dental work. He tells the worst jokes... ever... be warned... seriously. Terrible lame jokes, and I love it. He is a nice man and not arrogant. Just for perspective, I have had so much dental work in my life, nasty invasive, painful abscess type stuff that I don't get nervous for any reason. I fall asleep with a drill running in my mouth... but I know some people still are freaked. If you need serious Endodontic work done, or a consult, ask your Dentist to refer you here - you can rest assured they won't screw it up.

I was referred by my dentist for a previous root canal that became infected. The team at Langley Endodontics was beyond professional and outlined the treatment option in detail. Everything about the procedure was explained ahead of time, I was given appropriate medications for pain management and the staff was beyond lovely. Everything wrapped up in just over an hour. I was sent home with a phenomenal care package and steps for check up in 1 year. Dr Conn and his assistant Emily were fabulous and I am in no pain hours after the freezing is out. He told me that it was probably just a misalignment or some such thing. well now the tooth seems to have died, and he wants to do a root canal, and crown. He says that the x-ray looks normal, and cant explain why the tooth would die, but we will do a root canal, and crown.

So I tried to call and set up an appointment but the lady on the phone was totally unprofessional and could not really handle the questions I was asking. I could hear in her voice how she was irritated by me asking questions, sorry, I cant really follow you saying a few dates one after the other in order to quickly see my calendar availability, and when I asked her could she please repeat the first date she mentioned, I could hear how she was upset with me asking her to repeat it. On top of that I asked if I will be able to set up another appointment in order to secure the spot as my insurance expires end of March. Perhaps I wasn't clear but she said itis a fraud to bill for future service, I didnt ask to bill for future service, all I said if there is an option to make sure I get service in March in order to be able to submit my claim in March. I find it very unprofessional to speak to the client in such way that you feel like you are doing something wrong. She is there to assist and explain information if the person is not clear. I did book an appointment though for checkup only thinking whatever. She is not the doctor. I after realized that I probably will give it a try to cleaning as well so I asked my friend to call and change the appointment if possible, well, I am not the only one who ended up with the same opinion about the receptionist. She wasn't professional again. The bottom line, I didn't get to see the dentist, perhaps he could be great but experiencing all above I had no choice but to cancel all. Too bad that bad receptionist cost dentist a new client.
