I walked in and explained that and the staff was still very helpful and didn't hesitate to fit me and let me try on a pair so I was sure what I ordered online would be a perfect fit. Shame the store couldn't get my business today, but the company overall just proved again how they are top notch. Would highly recommend the company overall and this location. Staff were awesome.

The shoes are colourful, leather or fur and made with tender loving care. No one has the range and the sizes that Squire has. It is fantastic to find a shoe shop that has a good selection for a small foot, especially sizes 39 and 40. (Which is 6 and 6 1/2). The shop itself is very comfortable and the sales assistant (owner) has a really lovely manner when talking shoes. Shoes are obviously his passion. We spent a good hour in this shop laughing and enjoying good conversation while I tried several pairs of shoes. Yes bought two pairs!

Wearing business shoes all day, a runner just isn't suitable. The Athlete's Foot is my God's send. Business shoes, with some style and comfort are available form this franchise. Although the first time I walked in the very helpful sales assistant couldn't match my foot size with his wares he did make a tremendous effort to order the shoes in for my next visit. Today I walked in and the fellow was immediately attentive and said that the shoes would be in, in a few days. He had ordered them last week although I didn't confirm I was going to buy them. The fellow remembered my situation..the guy with the very small foot.....but very big....personality. I will be back next week to take care of my purchase. I'm looking forward to slipping my foot into soft Italian leather and walking along with a bounce.

There aren't many other factory outlets selling shoes that a) stock more than one brand, b) are well organised and look like a regular shop and c) are positively huge with a big range. FSW ticks all three boxes and are predictably cheaper than department stores. Admittedly the styles aren't all in season, but to be honest, the range of shoes is so large that is doesn't matter which season it is, they will have something that suits. There are both mens' and womens' and kids' shoes, not alienating any particular group, but focus is no on sports shoes, in case you are after a sneaker. So if you need shoes for work, casual shoes or something for a special occasion, try here. FSW has brands like Hush Puppy, Sandler, Birkenstock, Windsor Smith, Florsheim, Merrell, Diana Ferrari and many, many more. My favourite part of the shop check out what bargains can be found at the back of the warehouse, where the clearance shelves are. It is still fairly well organised and not a messy mountain of shoes like in other places. I love how they are grouped by sizes, so I can go and browse everything on sale in a size 10-11 and maybe find something I wouldn't ordinarily look twice at. Entered a hangar full of shoes with just less than half being dedicated to men. I'm after a thick soled boat lug shoe like timberlands classic 3 eye. They don't have anything like it but I'm able to find something low cost that will do until I find what I need long term. Thanks to FSW I know I'll have dry feet if it rains next week.

But it's in the realm of high heels that Zu really comes into its own. Unluckily for me, I possess the skinniest feet in the universe. Happily for me, Zu caters for such abnormally anorexic feet - bad luck to you wider-soled sisters. I'm pretty happy with this turn of events, as is my wallet: Zu shoes rarely cost as much as they might elsewhere. But my favourite thing about Zu is the range within its stock. Bang on trend block colour satin heels are available, as are Hollywood's favourite nude pumps. But in addition to these overly fashionable shoes, the old faves still have a place - black stilettos and silver strappy sandals are readily available here too.

It's a permanent clearance outlet, there's a giant range of mens & womens shoes on constant sale, anywhere from $20 on the Last Pair table up to around a hunjy for more premium kicks. It's not crappy loose ends, either, there's some top wheels here from Nike, New Balance, Cons, Asics and heaps more, I'm not a boat shoe guy but I've got my eye on some sweet little leather sandals on the front table...

They also have a selection of handbags, hats, jewellery and hosiery. The staff are helpful but not pushy (a rare and wonderful combination) and they always have a sale table out the front where you can pick up some real bargains. Got my eye on some fab purple strappy ankle boot things at the moment that actually fit and are comfortable! But alas, a little out of my price range for now. But they're purple... sigh...

Ranging between a size 9 and 10, mine are not the cute little feet that can walk into any shoe store and totter out with some fabulous new heels. In fact shoe-shopping is pretty much the bane of my existence. That is until I was introduced to Peter Sheppard. This is the store that anyone with gumby feet will adore - and by that I mean anyone with big, wide or narrow feet, in fact anything that's not a perfect size 6. These clever souls cater just for us! And now they've got a shiny store in new Westfield, it's even better (the old shop was stuck in the 70s - in a bad way). To add insult to injury, the other problem with gumby feet is that our shoes come with a hefty price tag. It might be a small price to pay for well fitting shoes, but Peter Sheppard also puts on a couple of stonking sales each year, so you'd do well to sign up to the mailing list and time your visits to suit.
